Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the number on that piece of equipment we fail to realize there are other victories in our journey that have nothing to do with our weight.

I will start:

Yesterday my boss told me my jeans were getting baggy in the butt.

(I haven't lost any weight keep gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for over a year now - but its nice to know my excericising is paying off)

I just did measurements today, and in the last month I've lost a total of 5.5 inches.  So yeah, that was pretty exciting :)
i walked 1.5 miles yesterday and it didnt kill me
Someone that I don't see too often said in the middle of a conversation that he thinks I look great in my jeans! That's right... I went from a size 12 about 2 months ago to now a nice size 8! Very happy about that!
Stayed happy and fought negativity inside my head...
my non-scale excitement comes from a couple of things.

1. I ran on the eliptical yesterday... 3 miles in 28 minutes, and I could do it again today! That is an acheivment for me because I don't think I could have done that ever before in my life.

2. The jeans I bought on Halloween are already too big, despite the numbers not moving too much on the scale.

3. I made form fitting clothing for my hobby last night (I do historical re-enactment) and was not horribly embarrassed to put them on.

It has been a good non-scale week. Thanks for asking!
I can Bench 150% of my body weight!!
Haven't given up and bought any new clothes right now... don't have much to wear, but another five pound loss (and that's all I have to go) and I'll be back in the clothes in my closet.
I went running...twice!
Had to take off my wedding ring it was too big and I was afraid I was going to lose it.
I joined a yoga class - it starts tonight!
Two things:

Fiance says I look tight, toned and sexy and he's impressed with my motivation.  :)

I pulled on a pair of jeans this morning that I haven't been able to wear comfortably in a year and they fit w/o cutting me off in the middle!
Lately when I look at my butt in the mirror I am happier with what I see.  Also, I had to run across campus to get to a class on Thursday, and I was out of breath but I didn't feel like I was going to die.  That is an improvement.
I cooked for my husband!

Anyone who knows me understands that my producing edible food is a victory in and of itself...
Last weekend, my mother went through my clothes that I had put away a years ago and gave me a pair of cute jeans I had and said I would probably fit back into them again. I didn't believe her but they did! I was so excited.
Mine is seamlessly moving from eat so much, Wednesday through Sunday to being dead on and no cravings.

(But I'm happier about the scale :P)
My best friend and I were walking to the library on Sunday night and two (CUTE) guys asked us to go get coffee with them. We totally would have too but we had a ton of work to do... but I was so flattered! I've never been randomly asked out before EVER. We both just lost a lot and we look much better, so being noticed made us so happy!
I have many...

  1. My husband thinks I'm "Oh so hot!"
  2. I went from a size 9 to a size 5 in 2 months.
  3. I feel a sense of accomplishment from working out and keeping my diet.
  4. I just had a birthday and I kept my promise to myself, that I would not feel crappy about myself this year. This was the best b-day present I got!
  5. My co-workers told me that I motivated them enough that they now started going to the gym.
For the first time in years, I feel like I am in control of my mouth.
I am used to my mother inlaw, and sister in law asking if I've lost weight (i think they do it to encourage me). But, on Thursday my sister in laws boyfriend asked, and said I looked good. So, if now even guys are asking, I must be doing well!

And, the last few shirts I've bought are a size smaller then I usually wear.
Two things:

1. A skirt I bought for job interviews back in August now falls off my hips.  (downside: never got to wear it to an interview and it was $50!!)

2.  Went out to the club last night and wasn't embarassed of my exposed midriff!

Wooohooo!!
