still scared even after the firs test

i had taken a test a week after the second time (2 weeks after the first) because i still havent gotten my period. and it came back negative so it was all good. the same day i was put on the pill. Now i still havent gotten my period. whats going on?

I'm a little confused.

I'm not supposed to start my birth control until the Sunday after my period starts. I'm sure not all brands are the same. Did you start taking the pill already?

You will not have a period until you have completed three weeks worth of pills (the amount of time differs depending on the brand, I'm sure). Birth control pills stop ovulation and only when you take the last weeks worth of pills will you have a "period." It's normal at this point to not have a period (as long as you are actually taking the pills).

If you haven't started taking the pills yet because you are waiting on your next period, I would recommend taking another pregnancy test and calling your doctor.

my doctor told me to start the pills the next day whether i had my period or not. so idk whats going on with all this now :/

Call your doctor.

Im sure your fine, take your BC accordingly. All the stressing about maybe being pregnant probably messed things up. If you did start your pills then you'll be ok. plus you have 2 pregnancy tests done. My bff got very stressed and she switched BC pills at the same time so her period didnt come for like 2 months. She also took 3 tests  and they were all negative. You can go another week and then test but im sure ur not pregnant. Good luck and dont have sex any more...lol j/k just be super safe and use a condom along with the pills. You could be that 1%if you dont.

If you're taking birth control pills, you will not have a period until the 4th week.

You're young.

You just started BC.

You have increased stress levels.

All three of these things are reasons your cycle could be abnormal. If you have not menstruated by the time you get to the fourth week (of BC) call your DR. Depending on the brand of BC you may not get a period at all and it would be normal(not sure which brand pill does this but the depo shot can have this side affect). There are ones that will only give you a period once every three months also(yaz). So I would suggest you google your brand of BC. If it is Otho tri cycline (lite or regular) you should start when you get to your fourth week.

Best bet if you are freaked out. CALL YOUR DOCTOR! They are really good at explaining things. And they have gotten people who are more scared/stressed then you so they will know all the right things to say to calm you down.

Edit**If you are this stressed after one sexual encounter I would advise you to abstain untill you are better equipped to deal with the repercussions of said encounter.

When I was your age, I missed a period completely and was just as worried as you. Nothing happened.

The same thing happened again when I started the pill. But the next month it was there. Just relax, if the tests say negative then you probably aren't preggers. Just keep taking those pills as per the instructions, and enjoy not having to deal with Eve's Curse this month!

In my experience I was 15 1/2 when I first had sex.  It was really awesome...During the moment....But too stressful, Yes I used a condom no BC but condom but I kept stressing out with the pregnancy situation---Honestly It traumatized me thats why Im really scared of having sex now no joke.  Im waiting until marriage the end.
