GET INVOLVED!!! Each Sunday we will be presenting a mini-challenge for all participants to take part in. You might have to post your favorite snack under 100 calories or tell everyone the nicest compliment you have recieved so far. Message me with your ideas and recieve honorable mention as the week's BIGGEST SCHMOOZER!
This group is all about keeping that postitive attitude throughout your journey. It doesn't matter if you are just starting out or are maintaining, everyone needs someone to lean on now and then. So SCHMOOZE & LOSE with your friends and stay motivated!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- This is our 3rd S&L group. 89 people signed up for S&L II and about 25 finished it. There is no reason to drop out! It's a support group and there is no reason to feel ashamed if you're having a hard time! Don't give up! We're all fighting the same fight!
- I update the weigh-ins on Sunday afternoons. Late weigh-ins are accepted but may not be added until the following Sunday.
- The scales can be our biggest critic. If you're not up to posting your weight on certain weeks, that's fine. This is all about staying motivated.
- Mini-challenges will be posted on Sunday. We hope that everyone will take part, but if you don't, there is no pressure. We're here to support you on this journey.
- Feel free to use this group as a place to express yourself - fears, frustrations, worries, goals, triumphs, successes. We are here to support and motivate one another, whether you're doing great or struggling.

I'd like to try this. I've been an on and off lurker here for a while now. I lost 10 pounds in the spring - felt great and wanted to lose about 8 more. Instead, I gained all 10 back over the summer. Feeling out of control with my eating at the moment - need to get back to a healthy approach to eating - moderation! Thanks!

I'd love to join - I had a great summer that unfortunately involved lots of beer and little exercise, so it's past time to get back to work!
I 'd like to join too.-- I gained back the 13 pounds I lost --in the past yr. I hope I will stick it out the full 10 weeks.
I'm 3 months into CalorieCount and halfway to my goal weight, and would love additional impetus to keep going! Count me in!

Count me in! I have been on this website for a month or so now, but have not yet joined any groups. I could use the encouragement and comraderie.

I am Trying to lose the weight I gain in this last three years, I am 5`6, 21 years old.
In junior high school I used to weight 210 and then I lost 72 pounds in three years, so I kept my weight for two years (138) and then I started gaining weight again for stress related to my first job, College, boyfriend, a friends death and also my godfather got pretty sick , back then I was only sleeping 2 or three hours a day, and had two jobs and going to school, my Boy friend never accepted me when I was thin, all of a sudden he got happy when I started gaining weight, so I realized I was depressed so I dump my boyfriend and quit my Job, my job was a stress point too.
Anyways I have been trying to understand why I gave up all my good habits and just don`t care about my weight, I have been in thousands of nutriologist, psycologists, general medicine, etc. but nothings seems to work.
Right now I just started with the diet and my clothes are starting to fit, but still I have a long way to go, and in my seven day I got a little depressend and forgot about the diets and taking care about my self image, Today I a feeling very bad about my self so I am looking for some motivation, so I found this forum, I think is great so the bottom line is..... I am in!!!!

I'm joining too. I like this schmooze and lose idea... it has a ring to it! I've been cc-ing for a few years now. I used CC to lose 30 pounds, never quite making it to my goal weight, and then gained 10 back. While I have been maintaining for around a year, I am finally tired of it and want to succeed once and for all!
I was just thinking about kicking things into gear around the beginning of September, so this is perfect. I'm looking forward to this group! I'll be back on Friday with my weight... haven't stepped on the scale in a few weks so I'm not sure how pretty that will be!
Heya! I'd love to join! I think I need the motivation to stick with it! I'm 5'8'', currently hovering at around 202, although a few weeks ago I hit 200. I can't seem to get under, just very very close! Maybe some sort of accountability and support will help me off this darned plateau! I've been between 200 and 203 for a month now! Gr!
