Are there any SDA here

Just curious if there may be other SDA here. I try to have dinner so that all we have to do is just heat the food up. What do others do so they are not slaving over the stove on the Sabbath?

Hey Tess,  I'm not sure if there are other Seventh Day Adventist here, but there could be.  I believe the common ground of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior makes us brothers and sisters and able to share. Before my husband found the church we are in now we visited many different denominations and I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find true believers and followers of Christ in all of them.  

But to answer your question - I do like to cook things that will last for several days so to not have to cook every day.  It does take some advance planning.  I actually only cook about 2-3x's a week.  There are a lot of things you can cook and freeze - my favorite is lasagna, to cut it in squares and wrap them individually and they taste great when reheated in the microwave.
