I think my exact words were "WORST GREY'S EVER!"

 Because I hate sad and I love George and Izzie.

still watching it in California...we'll see!!

I loved it.  I totally did not see it coming that George was the John Doe.  My hubby has a theory that Izzie dies and George lives because she was the one on the elevator in the end dream (going to heaven?).

Also Tucker is such a lousy husband it makes me angry.

My mouth is still hanging open I'm in shock.  However, I think it's the other way around.  I think George dies and Izzie lives - maybe they will trade places in the elevator - who knows.  I just hope that Izzie doesn't leave the show.  I think if they did a spin-off for George that would be nice.  A show that involves being a doctor in the war...like a modern day M*A*S*H (never actually watched this show but I think that's what it was about when I used to see it on t.v. back in the day).

i couldnt stop crying through the whole thing. SO SAD and intense

i think they both die!!!!! and what does 007 mean!?!!

This is what I read:

"When the show FIRST started, that was his nickname. 007 stands for James Bond, "License to kill" which George earned by his patients dying. "

Unfortunately, slimfit, we won't find out whose prediction is correct until September :(

Also, I am getting increasingly concerned that Derek and Meredith are never actually going to get married.

Ya I agree, I don't like that they're delaying it. Writing a vow on a piece of paper and using that as a marriage solidfier/certificate/proof or whatever? c'mon!

 007= Licence to kill.

 It's what the called him in earlier seasons as a joke, ect. He was fresh and inexperienced. It's what they called him for mucking up surgeries. It was one of those great serious type jokes. =-P

Edit: Oops. I didn't realize someone had already told you. Hahaa. If you haven't seen earlier seasons... WATCH them!!! Seriously? Seriously. They're so good!

I hope O'Malley lives! - crosses fingers - I was like:" Surprised  OMG... OMG "  First the Army thing.. Then that.. I was right with Meredith saying:" OMG IT's GEORGE  John Doe IS GEORGE " Followed by: " Yell Nuuuuuuuuuu  Cry "

 It was sweet/personal. :) Totally modern/different! It's enough in my view because vows are vows. That's my take on it regardless of when/why/or how it's done. Someone else's style may have no worth to others. That's okay though because it's not about anyone else. It's about the couple. I thought it was adorable/touching for them due to their circumstances/wants.

To each their own.

 It was equally as touching that they gave their wedding to Izzie. She'd created it and it was what she always wanted. It was her perfect idea wedding/vows/day. That's what made the whole thing so sweet, imo.
