Seattle Folks??!!

Hey fellow CC'ers....

Where are my fellow Seattle residents? I'm working hard to start anew after succeeding at the beginning of the year and then falling completely off towards the end of the year. Now I'm back and ready for success. I live in WA and am just looking for people in the area who can help hold me accoutable as i can hold them. Read each other's journals, excercise and food advice, you know the normal CC friend stuff. So whose game???

OOH OOH Pick me! Pick me! LOL! I love finding someone from my area! I thought the winter was going to be really bad and that I would fall off the wagon like I have every other year, but not this year! I'm staying motivated!

Hi there! I have a condo in downtown, just 2 blocks from the Pike Place Market. Seattle is in my heart. I spent about 12 years there before I retired. Now I just visit for a couple of months and this year I think I am going to come out in March. I know my way around the city and suburbs pretty well, so if you need to know where a health food store is or some really great hiking trails, I'm your girl. =) I'm thinking about organizing a C-C meet-up when I come out to visit in the spring. So keep your eyes open for that annoucement!  

I live in the area as well and would love to be part of a Seattle CC group.  Sign me up!!!

hi girls!  I'm in the Renton area!  I've been on CC since April but am losing my momentum since the treaded turkey day :o(  New friends is just what I need to get back on track!  Nice to meet you all

Yea tell me about it, Thanksgiving is a bummer! It took me 5 days to get back on track! Hey Kina, thanks for adding me to your friends list, I've added you too : )

I work in Seattle and live in Lake Stevens.  Does that count?

Why don't you guys plan a meetup?  Meetups are fun and it's good to bond with fellow C-C'ers...  =)

And the cool thing is -- you can meet up as often as you want to.  You're all so lucky to be in the same city! ... or surrounding area. You guys could meet up every month if you wanted to...

Go for it!  Choose a date, a lunch spot and just let people sign up to come.  I don't know what your weather is like, but in warmer months, you could plan a sight-seeing meetup (people tend to not visit the tourist sights in their own city for some reason) or a group walk/hike.

Hey VeeVee of course that counts! And Kbachmeier I'm in kent so we're pretty close! I'm in the same boat as you and Jeunene, Thanksgiving really gave me an excuse to misbehave. But last night I did find the energy to workout even though its finals week and I am dead tired. So happy to find some other seattle folks. check out my journal girls, I'll be checking out yours!

Hi kina253!  Thanks for adding me to your friends!  I work in Kent so we are very close.  Awesome job getting back to the gym.  I need to get back as well!  I work out at Bally's and love their classes!  No more excuses, except of course, Christmas dinner!  hahaha, no really :o) 

No problem kbachmeier, which Bally's do you work out at? I am thinking of joining the one on Meeker since its soooo close to my house. Boyfriend works out there as of now so i think it'd be a great move for me. And yeah definetly no one can resist some good cooking on Christmas. who even wants to?? Not me!

hi everyone!  hi jamiesgibson!  thanks for adding me.  Kina253 i work out at the ballys at cascade shopping center off 116th.  It's close to my house so I can totaly relate to the distance thing.  I have to drive by it everyday so it's an auto guilt trip when I don't go :o) 

I'm in Seattle, too!  I ive in the city (in Ravenna), ride my bike to work most days, and am so happy to see other Seattle people here :) Feel free to add me to your Seattle list.

I am.  I'm in Tacoma for now, but might be moving east of the Cascades soon ... depends on how the job situation works out.  Glad to see so many other northwesterners around!
