My Second 5k
In February (brr, chilly) I ran a 5k race. Then I had a sort of falling-out with running and focused on other sports. Today, I ran 5k number two with one bathroom break (I drank a ton!). I feel optimistic about my running, which is the way I should be feeling.
OK, so the reason for this post was: is anybody enjoying success with a sport they weren't really 100% on in the beginning?

I used to have a love/hate relationship with any type of exercise. It thought I was too big and too out of shape to do anything. Then a year ago I started aerobics and walking for exercise. I changed my eating habits too and the weight started falling off. I was addicted.
Recently I started running. I tried running in high school for fitness but could barely run a mile. Now some 8 years later I'm preparing for my first 5K. I love it and I'm so addicted to it as well.
For me it just took longer to get back on the health and fitness track. Now that I'm here I love it and my body loves me for it.
