Secondary infertility
Hi anyone experincing secondary infertility? We have been trying to conceive our child # 2 since Sep 2007 with no luck yet. 2 months back my periods were delayed by a week, all pregnancy tests came negative ( i took one every 2 days) and then I had heavy bleeding. At that time I was almost hopeful that i had conceived. I suspect I had a 5 week miscarriage the last time, so we gave a break for a month.
Now again my period is delayed but we havent tried at all this month. Dont know whats going on. Am going to see my doctor soon. Anyone experienced anything similar?
When you say you haven't tried at all this month- do you mean you haven't had sex at all or just not at the 'right' time? sorry if being nosy- what I mean is- Is there NO chance you could be pregnant? I started ttc no 2 in Feb 06 so stopped BC. My periods didn't return for 5mths & my Doc said I had secondary infertility after hormone tests. My periods were all over the place so I was using ovulation kits to predict when/if I was ovulating- then in October 06 I found out I was pg after a month of 'not' trying! My dates must've been totally screwed up because she arrived 8days late, but checks showed she was a gestational age of 42wks or so! How late are you? If it goes mroe than 2wks I'd definately do another test? Good luck!
There are no chances of me being pregnant because we havent had sex at all this month. So doesnt look like pregnancy. In 20 years of my periods they have always been on the dot on between 27 and 29 days except the time when I was pregnant with my first kid (lol). and now its already 33 days since my lmp. I am going to see my gynae this weekend. Lets see what happens.
If it was an early mc then your hormones will have screwed up your cycle. Plus stress can delay it too. Try and relax & see what your gynae says? Good luck. Xx
Thanks irishmum. Day 35 and still no periods. Now I am really worried, I dont know how long it will take for my cycle to regularise and so I can start tring again.
