sedentary or light activity

I am so sure that this has been asked before, but I am rather lazy at doing searches so I'm gonna ask.

I have four children, stay at home mom, hopefully not for long, but I do all of the cleaning and laundry and cooking what have you.  It literally consumes most of my day. I have two floors in my house, and the laundry in the cellar, so lots of stairs everyday.  I zip on and off the computer often not staying for more than a few minutes.  Would anyone consider this light active?  Sedentary is basically sitting on the couch all day, I guess, but thats a far cry from what I do everyday.

It would be 'light'

Running a home properly and looking after kids is a lot of work and keeps you on your feet and off your...  I'd say you are lightly active.

Definitely light. 

I would agree.  As moms, we are constantly moving trying to stay on top of the housework, taking care of everyone, grocery shopping (which leads to loading them, unloading them... with many trips to the car, and putting them all away), many trips to the laundryroom... I could go on and on, is definately light activity.

Thanks guys.  I realized that if I put light active it saves me from having to log housework.  I'm tired today.  My house was an absolute disaster, I was becoming so jaded that the downstairs was always clean and the upstairs....I can't even say.  It's clean now! So yeah, thanks.
