I'm glad not all Texans speak like that, I'd go crazy otherwise.

BUSH WENT TO YALE!  He's not even from TEXAS and he STILL speaks like a goober!

He must have dementia

Thats being kinda stereotypical dont you think?? Not all Texans talk that way!

WOW. George Bush is certainly not a product of Texas. Just a heads up for ya darlin'.... there are morons from all over the world and they come in every shape and color Smile

Although George W. Bush was born in Connecticut, he certainly was raised and spent most of his childhood in Texas.  Just like I say I'm from Massachusetts although I wasn't born there, I'd argue that George W. Bush is definitely a product of Texas.
We've already been through this.
You must have concluded that he is more of a Texan.
I reckon you've never been to Texas, have you?

Regardless of where GW spent most of his life, is beside the point. Speaking as someone who HAS lived in Texas, has many friends from Texas, for the poster to even insinuate that he is in any way what people from Texas are like is freakin ridiculous! THAT was the point I was trying to make. Are there morons from Texas? obviously, just like anywhere else.

I reckon I have been to Texas.

GW Bush grew up in Texas, served there in the Air National Guard and was the state's Governor.

Can't get much more Texan than that.
Dnroth was referring to me.  I don't buy into Bush's good ole boy persona.  I think it's phony.  I mean, the guy is afraid of cows for cryin' out loud.  What Texan is afraid of cows?

Michelle, where in Texas have you lived?  I spent some time in the Houston/Galveston area.  The air is chewy down that way.  Bluck.

We lived near Fort Hood for awhile... and they just loved my thick Brooklyn accent I was sportin' at the time LOL

"C'mon say wahtah again.....  and cawfee too!"

I have friends in Austin, Tyler, and Sherman. I also live in Oklahoma, which I would consider pretty close to Texas way of life.

I have no doubt that his good ole boy personnae is real. I think his biggest problem is that he simply ain't the sharpest crayon in the box.

has nothing to do with where he was raised - IMO.
DUDE
i was SO not dissing texas..PROMISE

A Connecticut Yankee on King George's Texas Ranch?

I don't think anyone has ever actually cited a credible source that he's afraid of cows or horses.  It's just funny to think so.

How can I make walking fun?

You have to find a way to make exercise fun or else you won't do it. If you walk indoors on a treadmill, I recommend moving outdoors into the fresh air... Read more
