Now im back at 135 and my body is still recovering and I want to make sure im getting enough so my hair can get back to normal and so my body can restore it self which I have learned the hardway ....will take time

Breakfest- applie cut up with cinnamon nutmeg and brown sugar with fiber one microwaved half fiber one cereal bar

snack- handful of almonds (15) kettle korn some dry cereal

lunch- salad with spray on ceasar dressing and chicken. original sunchips. sugar free pudding with whipped cream.

snack- white chocolate mini delights 100 calorie packs

dinner-home cooked meal  beer battered talapia with vegetables

snack- half peice of toast with another jello pudding snack............

then i got worried I hadnt eaten enough and had some cookie dough ice cream

I also did the elliptical 30 min today

does this sound like enough I always find myself sneaking back into the kitchen and picking at things? any opinions???

it definitely does not sound like enough, you should be consuming at least 2500 calories and there's no way you even came close...you probably had a sugar free pudding snack...60 calories, 25-50 calories for hte toast, 300 for dinner, 100 for rice cakes, 350-400 for lunch, 150 for almonds and cereal, and probably like 200 for breakfast--im actually being pretty generous too..so i'd estimate you're eating 1350 calories or so..which is not enough by any means...not even if you were never recovering, so you should try incorporating more whole grains and good fats like avocados and olive oil. hope this helps =]

yaaa I usually eat alot more too like a big lunch I never eat salads but I thought maybe i should cut back bc I have been gaining but ya Ill go eat more thats why I was worried I Didnt get enough today ha and apparently I was definately right!

good...just be careful..you don't want to undereat and then sabotage any future weight loss efforts by messing up your metabolism. you are very tall and lightly active so you can withstand at least 2500 calories, especially with your ED history. so, trust your body and give it some time to regulate. it will settle at its ideal weight. =]

it really doesn't seem like enough to me (well compared to my gaining eats anyway!)

You need to eat more for your snacks I think and(although this doesn't have to be the biggest priority right now) aim for more nutritionally dense foods, e.g. instead of the chocolate 100 cal packs, have a piece of WWtoast with some nutella or hummus.

You should also be eating back your cals lost on the elliptical to prevent loss

Puddings and icecream are fine but try stuff like extra chicken in the salad

I used to do the whole half of this and half of that too (it feels like you're being less greedy right?).  Try to get out of this though because it is a tag of an eating disorder - normal people will just have a slice of toast if they are hungry, not a bit of one and then feel the need to add something..it tends to mess up your head a little bit!  ;)

yeah good point I did have chicken on the salad....Idk I guess I need to figure out good eating bc when I weighed 140 I probably ate wayy wayy over my recomended cals. I just need to find a balance and ya I do realize I pick at food I need to stop doing that. very true
