Would you sell your before/after pics?
All of you who live in sunny Southern California must be familiar with the many billboards promoting lap band surgery. I live 20 minutes from work and pass nine billboards. Yes, I counted!
Do you think the people who are promoting the product got paid for their pictures? I don't think I would do it simply for the pride factor. I lost my weight the good, old fashioned way, less food, more exercise. I would never want anyone to think that I took the easy road.
Although, from what I have heard, lap-band surgery is far from the easy road. That is just what everyone I have ever talked to thinks.
What do you think, would you sell your pictures?
My first thought was heck yeah! But then I started thinking about the implications. I'd be supporting a weight-loss method that I didn't use, don't believe in, and am rather strongly against....so accepting money to be used to support their sales would be morally wrong. So...no. Unless it was a ****-load of money lol
What's that old joke about asking a woman if she'd have sex with you for a million dollars and she says sh proabably would, then offering her $10 and she get's all insulted and says "What do you think I am?" and the response is "Well we've established what you are, now we're just dickering about price" hehe
Good analogy Victoria. I feel exactly the same way you do. Although the insane amount of money would come in handy!
Maybe if I could get them to NOT use my face. Might settle for 75% of whatever they were paying me.
Money could be used to buy me new clothes!
But if my face can't be removed then, no. I don't feel comfortable with people looking at me! :O
I have no shame :D
They can use my pics, face and all, and I would probably use the money for a boob job or something haha
