i feel exactly the same way and i am trying soo hard to get over it

People are kind of worried about me because my whole mood can change if i feel depressed about something i have eaten.. i have finally been able to only weight myself once a week and  that really helps.. good luck to you!

yeah my whole family is worried about me, and my mom weighs me daily to make sure i have not lost any weight

I do it too.

I think it's going to take time to mentally understand food. I've been maintaining for 5 months and still can't get the hang of what the heck i'm supposed to be doing :)

Take a break.

Seriously, just log off CC and take a day or two of mental rest.
Food obsessions can turn out badly :) so you know, just chill a bit.
Doesn't mean you have to go binge on junk food, just don't count the calories at all.
And everytime you get that urge to obsess, just remind yourself "Food is fuel for my body, i will eat what i need to, i do not need to obsess over food" and try to find something to take your mind off of it for awhile.

Ah well, hope you have a good day :)
Take care,
C.

I realized this evening that I was worried that i had eaten too much today...and I had only consumed 862 calories!

No wonder I am fat!  I have no idea how to eat!  I am working on that.  I'm not sure counting calories is good for me.  Maybe it makes some of us too obsessive.

hi shar,

I did used to OCD about counting calories, OCD about food.  Then, I looked up the food pyramid.  Found that I continue to eat all my servings of fruits and vegatables, whole grains, lean meats and voila!  no need to count calories.  So, if it helps, look at the food pyramid (google it), trust in yourself and you'll do great!  Keep up physical actvity and at least 64 oz. of water.
