Quote  |  Reply

McDerin and I have agreed its time for a September Abs/Tummy/Core Challenge.

The Challenge is to challenge yourself!
We will need your Name and a starting waist measurement.  I will enter your name, start date and starting measurement then at the end of the month, remeasure and see the amazing results!

IF you are interested, here is all you have to do!

10 minutes a day for the month of September devoted to your Core/Abs is all we are asking! and if you are doing the Minutes challenge, this gives you an extra 70 mins a week! :) or 300 more minutes for the Month!!

If this is a new thing for you let us know and we will help you out.
Feel free to send either of us a Private Message!

Speaking of here to help!!!  Each Week we will give full instructions on an ab workout for you to try for that week.  This way you arent stuck with the same thing each week and you can work different muscles.  NO boring routines here people!  Then we can all compare in the end to see what was everyones favorite.  We will also give tips on other ways, like your diet, to help drop that belly!

Below is a link to some helpful information put together earlier in the year.

SO who is with us???

I am in..

29 inches.

quick tips for today to help you out.

LAUGH and Laugh hard!  Seriously, when you laugh hard your stomach tightens up - its a fun...funny exercise? LOL

another thing is if you find yourself bored at work, need to wake up a little.

Stand up, hold your arms out in front of you and make tight fist, squat and twist.  This will not only wake you up some it will give your abs a little teaser for the 10mins you are going to do later that day :)

Tomorrow morning we will be posting some GREAT Exercises for WEEK 1 of the challenge.  They are great (Thanks McDerin!)  If you dont want to get on the floor, you will love these Stand up workouts!

GREAT tips, Slappy :)

I am excited and can't wait to start this ab challenge.
I think we are ALL going to rock it.

Have a great day everyone!

I would really like to try this.

Waist measurement:  39.25 inches!!!!  That was hard to see!

Hips:  41.75 inches!!!   No wonder I can't get any clothes to fit!!

Hope these exercises work!!

waist: 32
My natural waist is 25.5.
My belly is 28.

Let's get this started!
I want to blast that belly :)
I'm in!! I'll get my measurements in this evening... Best way to make sure I get back into doing my ab work consistently.

Cheers!

Ren :)

Edit:

Waist (relaxed): 35

Muffin Top: 37.25

AGH!!!

here is a link to the Week #1 exercises! Check it out!  McDerin picked out some great workouts to help break up the basic crunches  routine.

Hello!

I would love to join in on this challenge for September. I have been looking all week for my ribbon tape and cannot find it, so I will be purchasing a new one and then updating my starting measurement on Tuesday. I only have access to the Internet at work, so you will typically not hear from me on the weekends (plus Labor Day Monday) and I am going on vacation the 15th through the 23rd. I will keep working my core during those times that you don't hear from me for the ten minutes. I am kind of new at this (joined in July and this is my second challenge to participate in) and did not know there was a minutes challenge. I am going to have to look that one up and join it too. Thank you for all your hard work in putting together our core workouts. Starting measurement: 36 inches (sorry it took me so long to get this measurement posted). Loving the exercise and looking forward to loosing the belly!

Smiles, Dacia

dacia! Great to have you aboard! You will succeed! If you dont want to run out and buy a new tape measurer, do what some others have done....

take a piece of string, ribbon or anything, wrap it around and then measure that with a ruler. :)

If you need anything or have any questions- we are here!

Count me in too!!!    Ty Mcderin for telling me about this :-))

chrisbaptiste 35 inches

OK--here is my measurement--36.5

I'm ready to do this!!

This has been asked, but I'm a little dense.... where exactly do you measure again? what's your "natural waist"?

thanks

beauty- its where your sides naturally go in. I think thats the easiest way to say it.  OR about an inch or so above your belly button.

I am ready for those workouts tomorrow!! :D
Maybe it's just me, but the link to those McDerin Week #1 workouts sends me to 404 not found.... Can you check on it when you get the chance??

Ta

edit:  Nevermind... I found the thread and tagged it...
I'd like to join, please. I'll measure in the morning. Will have to look for the measure.
