September Abs/Tummy/Core Challenge

Quote  |  Reply

McDerin and I have agreed its time for a September Abs/Tummy/Core Challenge.

The Challenge is to challenge yourself!
We will need your Name and a starting waist measurement.  I will enter your name, start date and starting measurement then at the end of the month, remeasure and see the amazing results!

IF you are interested, here is all you have to do!

10 minutes a day for the month of September devoted to your Core/Abs is all we are asking! and if you are doing the Minutes challenge, this gives you an extra 70 mins a week! :) or 300 more minutes for the Month!!

If this is a new thing for you let us know and we will help you out.
Feel free to send either of us a Private Message!

Speaking of here to help!!!  Each Week we will give full instructions on an ab workout for you to try for that week.  This way you arent stuck with the same thing each week and you can work different muscles.  NO boring routines here people!  Then we can all compare in the end to see what was everyones favorite.  We will also give tips on other ways, like your diet, to help drop that belly!

Below is a link to some helpful information put together earlier in the year.

SO who is with us???

I'd also like to join if its not too late!!! I'm not really looking to lose too many inches, but I would like to firm up the ab and am excited at the prospect of doing 10 mins of abs every day.  I'm also excited at the thought of doing a new ab routine every week.  =)  Yay.  My tummy measurement is 30 inches.  Now this was not done scientifically but with a string and then measured on a ruler.  =)  Thanks!

edit: i tried the link to the week #1 ab workouts and couldn't get it.  Where else can I look?

hiya slappy, link's still not working. Any thoughts? (By the way, my measurements are in my last post (yesterday). Cheers! Ren :)
This is new for me and I would love to be counted in!

Name:Amanda

Waist:48
renoodle,
It really shouldn't make a difference if you are in CC Plus or Classic, but here is a link to the challenge in Classic:
http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/5496 0.html

If that doesn't work, go to the Games & Challenges forum, and look for "Week #1 of Slappy & MC's Ab Challenge".
That is it.
OR, go to Slappy or my profile, go to the bottom for a list of our most recent forum posts, and you should find it.

I hope this helps.
OH....and tag it for easy reference next time too :)

Have a great day!

I forgot to let you know my measurement: 36 inches! I am so glad to be doing this challenge! Smiles, Dacia Kaiser Edit: Sept 12, 2007 I looked at the wrong measurement - I am 44 inches!!!
Mcderin will be posting the Week 2 exercises and they are going to be awesome!  Remember you can combine week 1 and week 2 exercises together, just do week 2 or Venture out on your own and find something that works for you!  WE are putting these exercises on here to help you mix it up!
I'd like to also be included :)

Starting 9/7/07

I lost 1.5 inches the month of September as a result of this challenge! YEA!!! I appreciate all the hard work you put into organizing this challenge. :) Dacia
Thats awesome!!!! Congrats! keep it going girl! Anyone else have a report to give?
I forgot to measure this morning :) I was running late.
I will tomorrow. However, I was not as consistent as I know I needed to be.
I will probably not have a change, but I take longer with inches anyway.
IF we are on for October, I will ramp it up and I will definitely post changes :)

anyone else?

I lost 1 "  on my waist!

3.5 inches in total all over..!! :D But only 1 lb loss this month..grr

Whoa!  I had great success doing this challenge!  THANKS for doing this!

Waist:

Starting: 30.25"  Ending: 28.5"  Loss: 1.75"

Lower Abdomen:

Starting: 38"  Ending: 36.75"  Loss: 1.25"

Congratulations mctami! That rocks. I broke even this time around. Hopefully I can ramp it up for October :)

Congrats to everyone for their successes and for their efforts!
