Should be able to choose a fraction of a serving for every item on the database. It works so well for the other items!

Try putting it in percentage, that's what I do and it seems to work.

 

.5 = 1/2

.125 = 1/8

i think you mean when cc puts 1 serving as a drop down to add, rather then 4 oz or something.
enter the food manually - that is what i do.

I write down how much I eat. I have a small scale I use (cheap one) and once I get used to what a portion or serving should look like I  enter it. You don't have to be perfect as long as you have a general idea. The thing is get used to keeping track.

I don't understand how your calorie intake goes up so you can see how many calories you have eaten, but the activity one keeps going up. I really don't understand the two together.

 see the hoop-jumping that goes on? You see the food you want to log, but you're forced to enter it MANUALLY instead.
