Is severe pain related to being overweight?

There are often times that I am in so much pain it hurts to stand or walk. For instance, this morning I woke up in pain and found it difficult to walk or go down my bedroom stairs for that matter. Yesterday I was fine all day. I sat down for almost two hours to watch a movie, but when I got up, I just felt like I had been in a terrible accident and it took all my will power to walk. I'm very young, so it's rather disturbing that these things are happening. Is this related to me being overweight?
