So...just out of curiosity, how many people have you been intimate with in your life?

I'm 28.  My husband was my very first sexual partner.  We are still happily married after 6 years and I'm extremely happy that I waited as long as I did.

well technically 8, I just try to forget about that guy lol. I was 19 my first time, 23 now.

I was 17 my first time with my bf of 2.5 years.

I'm now 19 and have had 2 partners total.  I think if me and my now boyfriend break up at any point, I'll  probably opt for celibacy for a while.

Somewhere in the range of 15.  First time - 16 and a half (that half is important)!  I met my husband when I was 19.  Yeah.  I test drove a few before I found the one I was ready to stick with.  I'm currently 31, still married. 

well for those worried about the youngins around here, i did wait till i was 18yrs+3months, uh...but then i had a bit of a wild spurt for a couple of years until i met bf turned recent husband . i in no way feel any remorse about my wild times...well except for just a couple of the not so great partners, but they sure do make you appreciate the good ones.

& i really even wouldn't call it 'wild' as i unattached and i like sex, its normal.  & it was so long ago that ive forgotten a few names, so not sure about the numbers, but i really dont think the numbers really mean anything. so what if you've had 1 or 100, it doesn't make anyone better than any others who have different numbers.

I'm 23y/o and still in the single digits, but I'm finding that each new person has something new to teach me and ends up being better than the last.  Not to say that I'm going to walk around looking for new partners every weekend (I like the guys you can keep around for a while) but I'm definately glad I didn't marry the same man I lost my virginity to like I had planned on.  Him and I were not a good match and it showed up in our sex life and I was just too young (19) and inexperienced to know it.

 population of the US is over 300 million.... this site has like 1000 people who read this part of the forums? (maybe?) The chances of running into anyone you might know is sooooooo small :P

That...and... this kind of thing is really subjective to whats good or bad. Some people might value a large number, while others would find a smaller number more favorable. Lets face it, sex is easy to find...if you want to hook up with someone...there are lots of people out there to help you out haha.

I am 19 (20 in less then 2 weeks) and have had 5 lovers. Currently with the the last one for almost 3 years...so yeah, I hope he will be the last ever... I lost my V way to early....but hey no regrets.

Uh, technically three but I only consider two of them.  There's the guy I lost my virginity to, my husband, and my best friend (she was the maid of honor in my wedding).  We got drunk and fooled around in a bar bathroom once, so if you count our five minutes of exploration and drunken, tearful making out as intimacy, then yes, three people.

I waited to have sex until I was eighteen and while I didn't wait for the right person, but rather the perfect moment to rebel against my parents.  I don't necessarily regret it, I just don't mention it if I don't have to.  It's not one of my more proud moments, but it did help me develop as a person.

But my friend and my husband, I have no issues mentioning either of them or what I've done.

It's not even really about numbers, it's just what happens.  I don't have a problem with pre-marital sex, and I don't have a problem with the prospect of multiple lovers.  It just happened to turn out that my first turned out to be my only, and I'm fine with that.  I would probably be fine if it had turned out differently too, but I have no reason to really consider it because I'm happy.

I don't remember exactly, but closer to Mooni than the single digits. I was busy in the 4 years between losing my virginity and getting married. Only 1 for the last 10 years though.
