So...just out of curiosity, how many people have you been intimate with in your life?

There has been research where young men and women were wired up to a (non-functional) lie detector and asked how many sexual partners they'd had.  Then using another group, just asked without being connected to the machine. A third group thought they'd be answering anonymously.

Women who thought their responses might be read said they had had an average of 2.6 sexual partners, compared with 3.4 partners for those who thought their answers were anonymous. But those who thought they would be caught out by the polygraph reported an average of 4.4 partners.

In contrast, men's answers did not vary significantly. Those attached to the lie-detector reported an average of 4.0 partners compared with 3.7 for men who thought their answers would be read.

1 for me, my husband.. I married him when I was 16- he was 25!

now 24 years later (I know this is going to sound awful) but I wish I had done MORE had MORE and played and enjoyed my life and sexed it up while I could!!! I am now 40, fat, and very unhappy!

I know not all marriages sux but mine does!

Ive lost 40 pounds to date- still loosing and I cant wait to feel confident and sexy, and I can promise you I am going to go out and 'do it, do it, do it' till I cant see straight!

I am so sick and tired of being a good girl! I envy all you folks who have done it more times that a handful!!!!!

 It's possible to do it more than a handful of times with one person. o_o Quality over Quantity. If you aren't having quality sex with your husband...I strongly suggest that you tell him. Add spice. There is something called Sex Therapy. It's like Sex Ed or Sex 101 for couples that need it. Some women/men have never had quality sex. Or: Orgasmed, ect. I'm just hoping you've expressed this to your husband. I don't know if it's something either of you are interested in or willing to work on... It may or may not be an option: I'm just throwing out a suggestion.

It's sad. Everyone should have good sex with their partners.

for a guy who was about to be famous at a young age...I could have had hundreds of girls....being a pro athlete is like a dream come true for a lot of guys, and if they only knew how many women  just come to you....lol...wow.

that being said...I was always careful, because i really liked to have sex, but not with just anyone...people i cared about.  I started at 18.... i'm 29 now.

I'm 30 and I think my number is 8, but for some reason I always feel like I'm forgetting someone, lol. I'm married now so hopefully I never end up getting divorced and end up going on a sex rampage to where the numbers just skyrocket . I knew a guy once who'd had over 1,000 partners! Crazy stuff!
