Good articles...now I just need to find the men who've read them!
Or show it to a choice man... or two. ;)
Ok maybe one of you can help me with this- I never want sex. I like it just fine, but I almost never have the desire. Usually I have an antidesire, honestly. I thought it was because I was on the pill, but when I went off, there was no change.  I hear women talk about their sex drive and am so envious, because I don't have one at all...is there anything I can do for this? I want to want to have sex, LOL. And gosh, I am sure my husband would appreciate it!
Are you by any chance taking a beta blocker ( a blood preassure medicine?) Because those can apparantly kill the sex drive for some people.

Other than that, I've never heard about this... Maybe you could start with your hubby, like go for a hammam spa experience without sex and then slowly work up the drive again.... Romantic weekend..... sexy food..... candle light dinner...
no no beta blockers. I have never really had a sex drive that I remember. I was just wondering if it could be chemical thing...(lol, i am hoping to fix this). Like maybe I am low on a hormone or something?
Hm, I would definently talk to my doctor about that. Especially if it's affecting relationships and whatnot. It might help.
Fantastic articles, thanks for the post!  Drew

Tania_m, your lack of libido might have a host of different causes; physical and psychological factors can play a role. This is a very complex issue and not something that you are likely to get a useful answer from the people here. You should definitely talk to your doctor about it as a first step.

I think some people are just born more prudish/sexual than others.  I can remember making out with girls when I was in elementary school.  (weird, I know)

Have you never desired sex?  Hmmm...maybe you aren't comfortable with yourself and sexuality to enjoy sex?  I don't know.  I would say maybe the right guy hasn't come along, but I see that you are married.
The Discovery article suggests doing Kegel exercises "while chatting with a co-worker."

Now I know why the women in my office smile when I talk to them.
I can't believe I'm telling the world abou this either, but tania_m is not alone.  I like it fine but have not interest in it... no beta blockers... not on the pill... no other meds... the marriage is fine... and I love my husband.  Man, I hate talking to doctors about that sort of thing... never have and I really don't want to.

This is an article that presents a good summary:

Best regards,

---Kayvan

All this talk of sex makes me, makes me...... WANT IT!!! Especially when Im angry ..god I love angry sex!!

LOL tmi??
Not tmi to me nefertiti, especially since I know what you mean. Ah... It's the best way to make up after/during a fight. I don't mean make-up sex I mean... I'm-pissed-off-and-want-to-kill-you-but-can't -so-this-is-the-next-best-thing kind of sex. Mm... It's the best. =3 Haha... ah, I know what you mean.
