Don't let the title fool you. This is is no ordinary salsa. This thick yummy salsa is portioned (1 cup) to be eaten as a salad or added with a meal. wonderful on top of tilapia. Or use during parties as a hearty salsa with chips. Super simple to make all the tools you need are the bowl, spoon and can opener.

Recipe Ingredients for SGBear98's Poor Man Salsa

8 oz zesty italian dressing
22 oz shoepeg corn (2 can)
20 oz mild ro-tel tomatos (2 cans)
10 oz. regular ro-tel tomotos (1 can)
15 oz black eyed peas(1 can)
4 1/2 oz sliced black olives (1 med can or 2 small)

Recipe Directions for SGBear98's Poor Man Salsa

  1. This is a super simple recipe.

  2. open all cans and drain the liquid.

  3. optionally chop sliced olives (especially if using as a salsa dip)

  4. add all ingredients into bowl and mix together.

  5. For a fuller flavor let marinade in fridge 3+ hours
