Hi I'm looking to replace a meal with a shake but not sure which one would do.  Slimfast doesn't work for beans.  I've tried the WW shakes and they are good but I can never go to the building when it is open because I work during most of the meetings.  Do you have any suggestions for making/buying shakes that won't leave me feeling like chewing my arm off?  I'm also open to buying online if you have any recommendations.  Also if you know where to buy the WW shakes online please let me know (it's not on their website).

I forgot to specify: I hate banana shakes.  The ones I'm looking for are like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry etc.

You might try a protein shake, or a meal replacement shake with high protein - at least 12-15 grams.  The slimfast ones ALWAYS left me hungry, though admittedly it's been a few years since I had one.  The protein will help you feel full longer.

Any particular reason you want to do this?

I want to replace my dinner with a shake because I am so proned to overeating in the evening.  I want to make my breakfast and lunch my main meals and just have a shake at night.

Search recipezaar.com for smoothies.  I found several that there are yummy. Calories vary from 150 to 350 or so.  You may want to recalculate calories if you use different ingredients - I changed the total count for a couple of them significantly w/ my substitutions.  I find that incorporating the crushed ice in them (I use a blender) really somehow tricks my body into thinking they're more substantial.  The ones with frozen nonfat yogurt, and ice, really keep me going. Chocolate sources are instant no-sugar pudding mix, hot cocoa mix.

I use these for breakfast. They're light, portable (insulated travel cup), and leave me a cushion of room in my calorie count for lunch and dinner.
