shaking... is this normal?

Quote  |  Reply

My hands have always shaked on occasion. Like in the middle of a basketball game when i was sitting on the bench or on other accasions like that. I also have this wierd habbit of bouncing my legs and honest to God i cant get it to stop. I really have to think about it or it will start back up again. Lately my hands have been shaking a lot. It is really noticable. The other day i was pealing an orange and my dad made me stop because he notcied i was shaking. I also passed out the other day. I was getting my blood drawn and i just passed out. They didnt even take three tubes. Then my blood kept clotting and they ended up not being able to get enough and sent me home to come back and try on another day. I have also been getting really dizzy when i go from squating to standing. Does anyone know what is wrong with me? I have been eatting at least 1200 cal a day and i have cut back on exercising this week because i have had a cold. i have a problems with my hormone levels so i wonder if that has something to do with it. My doctor was going to put me on more medication, but she mentioned that it may make me shaky. I mentioned that i already have been shaky and she decided not to put on more because of it. The medicine that i am on now shouldnt make me shake though. my parents think i might be hyperglysimic. Any thoughts?

Usually when I get shaky it's because my blood sugar is low. Have you been checked for that? I also have a condition called (Pots) Postural Orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. It's when your nervous system doesn't function properly. what happens is when I stand my Blood pressure drops and my heart rate will go to about 200 beats a minute and then sometimes I faint. It took me along time to get diagnosed. Not that many doctors know about this condition! It's very rare.If your interested there's a website~www.potsplace.com. It will explain it alot more...but there is alot of things that it could be.

Please check with your doctor.
It sounds like possible low blood sugar. You should eat something with protein and carbs before a basketball game. Cafe Steamers from Healthy Choice are really good.
