Shape Ups by Sketchers
Anyone here have these shoes? I just bought a pair and hope they live up to the hype. I spent about 110 dollars on them...quite pricey and more then I've ever spent on any shoes in my life besides a pair of fashion boots that were about 100. Ha Ha. So I'm REALLY hoping they work. The reviews sounded good, so I was hoping to hear from my fellow CCer's and their opinions if they have them.
Thanks! :)
I don't have them, yet, but they look very interesting. I'm curious to find out how you like them after you've worn them for a while. Please let us know how/if they work for you.
I will! :)
I actually bought a pair several months ago. They are somewhat comfortable but I notice my legs tired quickly and sometimes hip pain.
I've never tried them before but after looking them up I realized that Curves sells a very similar shoe through Avon. They had a purple pair a couple of campaigns ago (I still have a catalog that has them in them) but the pair at are on the avon website right now are blue and white. Here's a link http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?src_pa ge=product_list.aspx&level1_id=300&le vel2_id=308&pdept_id=481&dept_id=& ;pf_id=36393 they're 39.99 so if you guys know an Avon rep and you want shoes like that you may thing about trying out the curves version before spending a lot on the sketchers. I have no idea how the quality, just thought I'd put that out there for people
They're just a cheaper version of MBT's , which have been around for years. Never tried them but one friend thinks they're great and another can't wear them for longer than 15 mins without hurting her feet. Think it's meant to be like walking on sand so your leg muscles have to work harder. Definately can't hurt to try them!
I think its a marketing ploy. Exercise and a healthy diet "shape you up", not shoes. I woul have never spent that much money on them. Pretty lame
It probably is, but my curiosity got the best of me. Ha Ha. Obviously exercise and diet are the main factors, but the shoe's promise is to burn more calories walking then with regular shoes due to it's design and walking on sand feel so you have to work harder to move, I guess. Lmao. Plus they promise less pressure on your knees and back. Hopefully they won't be a complete waste..if so it will just be on my list of "Sh**, I just had to buy this piece of crap...Oh well." Move on, and learn. :P
God, I hope that's not the case! :/ Ha Ha.
What is the diet for kidney stones?
For kidney stones, you should drink at least three to four quarts of fluid (preferably water) everyday. There are several kinds of kidney stones... Read more
