Picture is on my profile. Does she look too thin in any of the pictures? Goin across from left to right the weights are 86, 103, 103.
Plase let me know :)
I can't see the photos.
fixedd it. now it should be on my profile.
in the bench press picture yes she does look too thin; she looks frail and weak and her body resembles that of a 10 year old boy...
it's not about "looking" too thin... it's about being too thin, many serious health problems will come from being underweight or being malnourished... just because you are not pure skin and bones (yet), does not mean that there isn't a problem.
I like her body...
She's 5'5", by the way.
Simply_ess, I like her body too. I like the bench press picture the best.
Its me. Everyone told me I was too thin in the bench press picture. My parents made me gain weight.
Now, I'm 100 lbs (a little less than the other 2 pics) and they are telling me that I need to gain 20 pounds! It's so stupid and frustrating. I've never weighed more than 103 in my entire life! I feel like since its my body, I should be able to do what I want with it.
Are you sure you don't have an eating disorder? In another post you talk about meeting a person in inpatient...
I already knew it was you, anyways, you carnt fool me!
I like your body, in my opinion.
you are naturally thin!!!!!

I'm quoting this, because it deserves to be said twice. Alizanti, there is a lot of really good information out there about the effects of being unnaturally thin.
Out of curiosity, how much do you eat in a normal day?
the first picture is definitely too thin, and the other 2 are ok but I honestly think you'd look better with at least 10 more lbs. Maybe a bit more. I suggest gaining ~5 lbs in fat and 5-10 in muscle.
I feel like you should gain weight I am not going to lie, but continue working out and it will all be muscle gain, and not like the bodybuilder type eithe, but the really toned kind!
I eat about 2000 calories a day, give or take a hundred in either direction, depending on the day.
umm?? gain 20 pounds? you look fine the way you are. as long as you don't deprive yourself (which i doubt you are since you say you eat 2000 a day) and are getting enough nutrients i don't really see the problem.
I agree completely, ewwxroflzz. I just wish my parents did.
have you explained to them how much you're eating and stuff? there's no reason for them to think you have a disorder, imo.. have you ever purposely tried to lose weight?
If you're eating a healthy amount and just have a naturally small frame and fast metabolism, then I don't see the problem either. Some people are just blessed. I have a friend like that: she's always weighed less than 100 lbs. and underwent all sorts of tests and things by doctors to make sure she was healthy. Turns out, she's fit as a whistle, just built smaller. It DOES happen.
if you are eating 2000 calories a day, and maintaining 103 and you are including protein and some fats(almost always accompany proteins) Then I think I would want to have my thyroid checked out. Out of curiosity, are you vegan or vegetarian?
you look very thin, almost scary thin? have you always been like this? because for your parents to think you are at a low weight means that it hasnt always been like this.. anyway personally i think you should gain 10 to 15 lbs, to even out and have some curves. curves are sexy, bones arnt.
Very thin but if you are eating enough and healthy more power to you. I second Enia28. Curves are sexy, bones are not.
Do what you feel is best for you.
There was a point in time a few years ago when I was over-doing the diet thing a bit and was under constant attack by those around me to gain weight. I caved and began binging... sometimes spitefully. Anyways, that just led to a whole 'nother mess of problems.
Even now I get heckled about it b/c my set point range seems to be between 95-110 @ 5'4" (about 100 being the most comfortable/where my body tends to stay). If your genetics make you petite, then you can't help that.
You look very thin, makes you look childish. Not sure why you had to hide your face or try to pretend it was someone else, clearly its you tahts why there are 3 photos. Sounds like you are very insecure about your weight and seeking our approval. I think most people would agree that you are tiny and look a little ill. An ideal weight for 5'4 is 120lbs (100lbs + 5lbs per inch after 5ft).
If you are naturally that thin then why would your parents ask you to gain, they would know you eat well. Also you said its your body to do what you want with, if its natural thiness surely you arent doing anything to achieve this? My assumption would be that you have ED and want us to all tell you that your parents are wrong and you look great, you dont you look ill.
I wish you the best of luck and hopefully youll see the pictures as they truley are, and get yourself better.
