Hey girl! I am in desperate need of some accountablity also. A cruise to Mexico in May is my motivation for now, but I'm having trouble getting going lately! Here are my stats . . .

figure since i am lurking/lerking? Undecided around this morning .. i would say HI .. it does get fustrating not seeing much result in the beginning .. lost 10lbs this month (since i finally got serious about this) and dont really see it but i know it has gone ... just keep the chin up eventually you will see the results

I lost a little over 8 lbs last month up until now. It's slow, but steady. And that's what wins the race! ;)

slow and steady .. always hard to keep in mind ... as much as i want it now now now ... i know it will take a bit to get rid of my weight ... i will be the hottie i was b4 ... and i will do it with a smile on my face ...

i'd love to have a few buddies! it's always easier when you have support coming from many places and it makes the journey that much more enjoyable.

Hey y'all .. hows it going? .. everyone still keeping on track? .. i took last night off from working out but i havent taken one off in 2 weeks so i figure it would be ok ... the sun is shinning here ... in all its glory ... i love the sunshine .. just brings a smile to my face and makes me want to get up and do stuff ... so today i am gonna plug in my ipod and go for a long walk by the river ... i had an awaesome ego boost last night ... made me realize that i have been accomplishing something with these workouts and all ... yay me ... lol ... cheers everyone ... keep your head held high ... cuz you may not see the results just yet .. but you will soon enough

hope everyone's been doing well so far. these past two weeks haven't been the best for me. i didn't go to the gym once, and my eating wasn't too great either. time ot get back on track!!

I've been having trouble keeping up with my exercise lately. Usually I'm really good, but for some reason it's been tough. I borrowed my neighbor's Wii Fit while they were out of town and it is pretty cool. I used it every day but had to give it back yesterday. I told my hubby I want one for my birthday (next week), so I hope to be able to use it soon!

I also love to go to Jazzercise but my schedule has interfered for about a month now. I've only been making it about once a week.

What do you all do to keep moving?

i'm really lucky; i have a gym at school that i have free access too. i don't go as often as i should though.

maybe try workout videos? if you don't have any, they're always online somewhere =] go for walks around the block, to a nearby park, see how fast you can go between all the rooms in your house... i do that last one sometimes :P

i went down a pound, now i'm back up two >.< i suffered from an eating disorder in the past, and it seems to be coming back. food isn't really appealing anymore, but i know i NEED to eat it, and i end up over eating to prove that i'm okay. i really need to focus on listening to my body, and see what it asks me for... i'm not really good at that yet. if any of you have recovered from an eating disorder, some advice would be great. =/

akcorina, really, try workout videos :) For example, 10 minute solution videos are great and easy to fit into your schedule.

 

Motivation is something I really need right now, I just started and I didn't weight myself when I did start a little over a week ago so I am not sure what i started at.

I need friends help, I just weighed myself last night and I am really feeling bummed.

Lostalycat-- I agree motivation is what i need also...i have it in myself but its not strong enough, my boyfriend drags my motivation right down to the ground. For instance if im on my way home from work and am talking to him, ill say uggg i really dont want to go to the gym today but i will...he will go right ahead and tell me to just come on home... that makes it really hard for me to still want to go to the gym!

Anyone with motivation tips im open to any and all sugestions!!
