What can I do to shed 9 pounds

Quote  |  Reply

Hi evevryone,

I have completed 26 moons on this beautiful earth, stand at 5'3" and weigh 119 pounds. Most poeple  laugh at me when I tell them I am trying to loose weight but they haven't seen my flabby tummy. My main problem is excess fat everywhere, from my face to tummy to tighs. Only a year and half ago I weighed 110 pounds, had a flat stomach (24" waist) and size 2 clothes fitted me so well. Now my waist is 31"! I am not at all happy when my tummy shows through all my clothes.

I am here to get my waist back but no matter how hard I try that bulge won't go.Please do share your experiences with me.

Hi littledream,

For me...the quickest way to a flat tummy is a high protein, low fat, low carb diet. I feel it makes a huge difference. However, the results also depend on your body type. I have a pear-shaped body, so my weight tends to be in my butt and hips. If you are a little rounder and carry weight around your tummy, you'll have to target that area more through diet and exercise.

Wow, reading ur blog was like reading about myself! Im 26, 5'3 n weigh 117!

I just had a baby 11 weeks ago and i have lost all the baby weight but i was 5 lbs over my perfect weight when i got preggos! Im pretty pettite and have a pretty straight body! Do put some more weight on my upper body then my lower body but its not a big difference!

Losing 9 lbs is not an easy task when u r already at a helthy weight! So my tip to u is be patient n dont give up! U will not lose this weight in a month! I say aim at 3-4 months! Eat alot of fish, turkey n chicken.. eat whole grains, fruit n veggies! And i would start out with cardio cause that will make u slim down n after u got the cardio rutine in start lifting weights 2-3 times a week..

I swim 3 times a week n i try to get on my elliptical 4 times a week! Gonna start the weight traning in about a month thats my plan!
