I'm working on payroll this morning. I didn't want to start chat since I can;t really hang around.

Too hot!  This is July/August weather.

Ya'll don't have ac?  I broke down and turned my down more. I like being cool when I sleep. But I'm trying not to run the ac too much.

We've been using our fans in addition to the AC.  Helps move the cooler air around and the dog and cats love to lay in front of them!

we have a couple of window units, but roommate said she wanted to wait until it gets really hot before we turn them on

Yea ... I got a little nervous a few times yesterday, and there were some tree branches on the road near my house, but we definitely didn't get the brunt of it.  The tornados were on Saturday, from what I understand, but yesterday seemed a lot worse out in McHenry.

I got the first two Stephanie Plum books. I finished the first one yesterday and started on the second.  I'm glad I was able to start from the begining. I think they are cute and a quick read.

Mourning humans!

I kept the house at 80-85 degrees all winter with the fireplace.  But this is humidy sticky, smelly,(sexy) heat.
