I have done a lot of shopping recently being on Spring Break and my friend from Scotland visiting. I've had to make so much room in my closet but I notice most of my clothes is from Old Navy, which I don't mind seeing as I like the stuff I have. Anybody else buy mostly from one store?

I also have some stuff from Sears and Kohl's but I dislike Kohl's. I just got a pair of jeans from Macy's and I love them! They are DKNY brand. I also have a dress from H&M but that store gives me a headache sometimes it's just so disorganized and usually the fitting room lines are sooooo long.

Some places I want to try include Ann Taylor LOFT and New York and Company. But the Loft seems expensive.

So where do you shop?

almost all my jeans are either from American Eagle or Abercrombie.   I LOVE their jeans and i LOVE the way they fit and look  :D

too bad they're kinda pricey  :/   it's the way they fit me that has me SOLD.... other than that, it really doesn't matter what the brand is.

shirts/tops.... i get them from everywhere/anywhere, as long as they look cute and feel good on.

I used to always shop at Pacsun, but now I feel like I dress like a 12 year old, always wearing jeans and a t-shirt... so I'm trying to find somewhere new. Sadly, I haven't found anywhere great.

Normally is't Aeropostale and American Eagle.

Occasionally I'll find something from Macy's or JCPenny's.

Hollister when they have good stuff on sale.

hayleymajayley I used to dress the same (just not from Pacsun). What I did and still do when I want to change up my "style" I start off at stores that have cheap clothes but still nice clothes. For me I go to Sears and have gotten some nice stuff there.

Uniform Advantage, Salus Uniforms, and occasionally Uniform Mart for Cherokee brand scrubs.

Beyond that, I wear whatever I sew.  I have a few jeans from WalMart and don't intend to buy anything new until my baby is born.  Since it'll be winter I'll buy a few new pants that fit.

Otherwise, this summer I'm rocking skirts and sundresses.

95% percent of my wardrobe comes from free people, I'm so in love with that store. I get a lot of basics from H&M too. Sometimes I'll shop at urban outfitters.

Old Navy-Baby, Baby- Gap, Childrens Place,Gymboree, Hollister, Abercrombie&Fitch, American Eagle, Victoria Secrets, Hot Topic,Disney store, Macy's, Dillards, and Sears. Occasionlly: Ross/tjmax. Kohls/Target. Online stores/ Ebay too. GoodWill. Depends.

Those are the basic stores that I go to for purchases. Some of which are connected as outside type shopping centers. It depends on what I'm looking for at the time. It can also depend on my location at the time. Lol. ( Deals too. ) There are some deals too good to pass up when you have a toddler. :)

I have from an assortment of clothing. All from various favorite stores in the mall, ect. I like to buy certain things from different stores. Pants from Abercrombie.  Shorts from Hollister. Bra/Panties from VS.  Legend of Zelda/Shirts protesting smoking/Funny shirts from Hot Topic. Spring dresses/Dress shirts for hubby at Dillards/Macy's/ or Sears. Pj's/night gowns from the Disney Store for daughter. Other things too! It depends. :) It's multiple stores since I do the shopping for all three of us.  ( Hubby, daughter, and self. ) I like an assortment!

I love thrifting myself. Sometimes there's cute stuff at H&M, stripey tights or whatever.

Finding plus size clothes are a joke. =(

coffincritter - I may try thrift shops, it seems a lot of people find cute stuff.

cptbunny -  I do not shop for plus size clothing but when I did I was pretty young, 15 or younger. Lane Bryant, when I went in I felt as though it was for older people and a lot of it was ugly IMO. But Old Navy has plus sized clothing I think is nice, but the thing is they no longer sell them in stores just online. I hate it! They sell dog stuff before they sell plus size clothing. I friend told me about torrid.com, never really looked into it but maybe you'd like it. =)

they have a store called Torrid that is sizes 12 and up and they have nice trendy name brand cute clothes. some things are pricey but they have sales and clearances. that is pretty much my favorite store right now

all of my jeans are from AE too...that's about the only thing I don't mind buying new. Everything else is from Value Village/Savers. Or Frenchies. Most of the brands in my closet are Old Navy, Gap, Smart Set, Reitmans, and AE.

i end up shopping at Marshalls or TJ Maxx a lot. always get cute name brand stuff for cheap there. plus marshalls is right up the street :p

i like express, and macy's for work clothes, forever 21 for trendy going out clothes. once in a while i'll hit the goodwill. i've found some really nice suit jackets (like j. crew) for super cheap.

Ann Taylor LOFT is expensive if you buy full price, but they have one of my favorite clearance racks. I have found beautiful skirts there for as little as $6! I got on their mailing list, and sometimes get awesome coupons in the mail too. My workplace is business casual, and I buy a lot of things from the Gap and J Crew as well (all on clearance of course - no way I can afford full price!). When I am not at work, I pretty much dress in Levi's jeans that I buy from Sears, t shirts from all over the place, and hooded sweatshirts from American Apparel. I don't recommend American Apparel though because it is expensive and addictive. Now I am a junkie with a $45 sweatshirt habit Cry

My problem with buying online is that I don't know what sizes I am... sometimes 2x and sometimes 3x depending on style. I even have some 1x. I usually would grab all 3 sizes and try them on and see which I prefer... can't do that online. :(

Forever 21
Heritage 1981- I love love LOVE that store!
Alloy- I order dresses through their catalog occasionally
American Eagle- that's where I get most of my jeans.
T.J.Maxx
Urban Outfitters- only clearance items..and usually purses.
Victoria's Secret- bathing suits
Oooh! Almost forget! Sometimes I can find stuff at Target as well.

I love JCPenney!  I just hit a clearance sale (needed to buy smaller pants - yay!) and bought 5 pairs of pants and a shirt for $49.70.  Can't beat that with a stick!

I'm plus size and have been since Jr. High, though that's changing now.  Lane Bryant is a little too fancy for me and overpriced; Torrid is okay but most of their outfits show more skin than I'm comfortable in; I'm always a size larger at Ross for some reason, and was just able to start shopping there again recently.  I usually shop JCPenney.  Good quality clothes, great fit and great sales!  Sometimes I'll go to Target, but their plus size section is smaller each time I go, and Walmart is good for basics, but most of their styles are so dated!

I'm on my way to being a size that can shop at thrift and consignment stores again, and I can't wait!  So many different styles under one roof - get ready Thrift Town, Mama's coming home!

I'm not very original, I mostly shop at places that everyone else has already mentioned. I love H&M but they don't have it here -- and I agree that I can't spend much time there, it's so overwhelming the amount of stuff all crammed in there.

Ditto about Loft and Ann Taylor having great sales. Loft has AMAZING sales and their work clothes are pretty good quality. Same thing for Banana Republic but only shop sales, full price is ridiculous there too.

My favorite all time store is Anthropologie but only if money is no object. It's pricey. I think it's the same company as Urban Outfitters but Anthropologie has more things that "adults" can wear, IMO. My fave pair of jeans are from Urban Outfitters though.

Target is actually really good for summer stuff - shorts, tees, tanks, flip flops. And I got a couple of nice, good quality sweaters there this last winter as well as a cute pair of flats.

The "discount" stores by me are always picked over and I rarely get anything good there. At TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, Kohl's etc. And I usually don't find better deals there than I do at sales at the regular stores - like AT Loft, Banana and so on.

Goodwill is awesome. Salvation Army by me sometimes gets some GREAT stuff. And they leave the dry cleaning tags on when you buy them. (I always wash stuff again before I wear it, after buying from goodwill.) I can't bring myself to get shoes at Goodwill but for clothes you can put thru the washer, mos def.

i know what you mean by that! my office is in the city, and right near a marshalls, and the selection there is always awful. luckily, i live outside the city, and in a predominately chinese neighborhood, so most of the women are tiny. that means the marshalls up the street always has great stuff in my size! it's all about the location i think!
