year 2009, short girls aiming to lose 20-30 LBS
so due to all the end-of-year celebrations. I've gained tons of pounds.
I'm 5'2 at 131.12LBS (59.6kg)
aiming to lose 25 pounds to reach my happy weight.

I want to lose more than 20-30 ... but 20-30 is a great goal for me by June (if I can get out of this damn plateau/up and down weight roller coaster)! Is it alright to join this group? I am only 4'11.5" and 151 lbs. I am VERY motivated to lose and did well over the holidays but my motivation is starting to wane because of the roller coaster that I am currently riding this month. I am hoping this too shall pass but extra motivation never hurt anyone, right? I want to look fabulous for once ... and losing 30 lbs will put me into my healthy BMI range ... but even 20 would be spectaculr for swimsuit weather (no bikini's for me ... not until all 51 lbs are gone ... and then we shall see)! ![]()

I'm 5'2", and weigh 160 lbs. The baby weight has hung on for over 10 years, and I am finally ready to do something about it! I want to lose 30 pounds, and am now calorie counting and working out at least 4 days a week. Thanks so much for offering a place where we can come for support and encouragement!

I'm 4'11", 18 years old, 125 lbs with a goal of 105. I'm totally in! I live on the beach and would like to feel ok in a bikin for once!
Count me in!!! 5'1.5 and wanting to go from 153 to around 133---20 lbs. I carry so much weight in my butt and thighs. I really would like to fit in normal jeans.....

Since I usually step on the scales on Fridays, I thought I'd quickly report my success: I lost 2,2lbs last week and I feel sooo good because I can feel every single muscle in my body from the light exercise! :)
I agree ... we should start weigh ins ... Fridays will work for me ... but it is not Friday quite yet where I am ... I already have a weigh in on Fridays but I am game for whatever! I am just looking forward to the motivation and the support of some other short and sweets ... like me

Maybe I am finally moving past the plataeu? I sure hope so ... because I want 20-30 lbs gone by June! Oh yes I do!! If ever I questioned the eating more during a plataeu ... I take it back ... I take it ALL back!

I'mr 5'4, weight 140 but want to lose about 20 lbs by April. I already lost about 5 and i've been eating right, driking only water and working out like 2 hrs a day so far...

jas_cuzzie and leahhh, I am the same height as you guys! I'm close in weight to you guys too.
I think i am 128-132 right now...I can't tell the exact number becuase i have 2 different scales giving 2 different answers. Right now I'm just aiming for 120 becuase I've never been able to get that low. To be fair I never stook to a 'healthy' diet this long. Maybe I'll be 110-105 eventually.
I think it is great to find a group with similar goals as you ... I am also about 5'2", and am looking to lose about 25 pounds (currently around 140, and looking to be 115). My lowest weight ever was 125 (literally, for like a day) at some point in college, so I know I have my work cut out for me. I am down about 7-8 pounds since I started CC on November 30, 2008 - I absolutely love this website! I find it encouraging to see others in the same boat as me ... best of luck, everyone!

Hi girls! May I join? I'm 5' 3", 147. I'm setting small goals to keep my motivation up: my first goal is 140 by April 1, and then 130 by June 1. I'm thinking that will be a good weight for me, because I've got some muscle...but we'll see when that time comes.
So yeah, hope everyone is having luck with their weight loss. I got scallops today. Yay! Hope to make some scallops with tofu and noodles.
