The Shorties Short-Term-Goal Club... GROUP NOW AVAILABLE!
Hey all!
Well, I am a shortie, and hey, I am not such a good long-term goal person. I like to set goals I BELIEVE I can achieve! Whether that's right or wrong, what I propose is a group (MAX 100 members) who consider themselves "shorties" and want to set weekly challenges for weight loss. There should be a long-term goal at the end of the tunnel, but let's take some baby steps!
...Which shouldn't be that hard because of our short legs!
tee-hee
Here's how it works:
Copy 'n' paste my example: ***WEIGH-IN's ON MONDAYS***
Age: 23
Height: 5'1
Start weight: 155lbs
Goal weight: 128lbs
Week one goal: 153lbs
Week one weight: 154lbs
Each week come to this thread and post your weekly results!
**Please remember, 2.2lbs loss per week is considered the maximum amount you should lose a week, for the safety of your health**
!!!Another thing that I would ask each member to do, is make a positive comment on someone elses post each week, to ensure we all stay motivated!!!
Welcome and Good Luck Shorties, and I hope to see you all working those buns off!

Hey girls,
I had a question- should we all aim to have the same weigh in day, or does it matter? You decide! I'm okay either way :)
I hope you guys don't mind, but I've decided to expand this thread to include everyone, because really- the height thing doesn't really matter, does it? We're all trying to lose weight right?
lol!
Welcoming any other thoughts on how to improve this thread!

true, but the shorter you are, the worse it looks when you have a bit more on you...blleeah lol
I think we all should have the same weigh in day for the sake of constancy
Age: 37

Goal weight: 115lbs
Week one goal: 134lbs
Week one weight: lbs
Week two goal: 133
Week two weight:
Week three goal: 132
Week three weight: 131
I started out at 148 and was able to get down to 134. I've been maintaing at 134/135 for the past month. I need some motivation and accountablity to make my weight move. I think I'll be happy at 120, but 115 would the my ultimate goal weight.
should we weigh in Monday, Wednesday, or Friday?
I weigh in on Monday for a different challenge and on Sat for one which will end this Sat (on another site). So whatever you choose is totally fine wt me
How does Monday sound to everyone for a weigh in? I will assume that's when we all will do it, unless any of you wish to do a different day
Mondays sound good to me
Just now really starting to lose weight. Lost 7lbs in 2 weeks, but not on purpose. I have been going through some heavy emotional issues lately, which has drastically reduced my appetite. I have wanted to lose the weight that I have put on since I was married for years ago for so long, that I have lapped my good intentions about 3 times!!!!!!!
I think that my impending divorce is just the kick in the butt that I have needed to motivate myself to be a better me! I can't wait to share updates, and read about your progress, as well!

What I'm going to do, just to make it easier for the members, is on my original post (as you will see above) I am going to list everyone by name (in order of joining) and I will mark "WEEK ONE" etc. and what your score is.
How does that sound?
THREAD NOTICE:
****First weigh in Monday 15, 2008*****
yay! You guys excited?
!!!!If you have just joined us, or join and you've missed a week, don't worry about it, I'll just add you to the list and I'll score you on the next weigh in!
