the shorties but wanna be thinnies club!

Quote  |  Reply
Hi!  I'm  hoping to start a shorties club, probably for women because mostly women are 4'11" - Idk maybe 5'4", it could vary a little i guess.  Does anyone want to join?  We shorty women (or I should say "petite") need to stick together, especially women who are older (because our metabolism sucks sometimes), but age could vary also, it doesn't matter.  Just wondering if there is already a thread for this, been searching but haven't found one yet.  Your starting weight could vary also, i'm not picky.  Women just have alot harder time dropping the weight (i.e. monthly cycles, moods, water weight, you know...)

Me:  Just started this website on 5/30/07

Starting Weight was:  121lbs (stubborn pounds)

My Height is:  5'0"

My age is:  38

My activity level is:  Moderate (Light)

My Calorie Expenditure is:  (around 1700- it varies with exercise)

My goal weight is:  110!

My goal date is:  8/30/07

My current weight:  6/3/07 is:  119!

What else?  Oh and my daily calorie intake is between 1200-1400 (1600 on a bad day)

Anybody else want to join.  I would love support and fellow chat members, kay? thanks!

P.S. I know that it only seems like I have a little to lose, but BELIEVE ME, those are the most stubborn last pounds to go!

Hi!

Last time I posted in this thread was in June so that means 4 months ago. Since then I lost 13 pounds. I am now at 123 pounds.

I'm losing less weight then when I started which is normal. But it takes less weight to see changes. Now 5 pounds means a size.

To summarize:
My highest weight was around 180lb
My starting weight on CC is 153lb
I lost 57lb so far
I would like to reach my goal of 120lb. When I'll be at that weight I will probably lower that number to 110 and see how comfortable I am at that weight.

Hello I am very new at this and I havent figured it all out yet.  I would like to join, but maybe I am too fat. Cause everyone on here seems so much thinner or at least they all weigh less then I do.

I am 5' 3 1/2" but I weigh 207.  I am losing inches but I cant seem to lose any weight. Can some one PLEASE help. I also have hypothyroidism.

Hi everyone!  I have been with CC for a while now, but I kind of stopped counting for a while too...yea i know im bad...anyway, I am back on track..

My stats:

age: 23

Height: 5'0

Activity Level: I sit at a desk all day

Highest weight: 150 (in college about 2 1/2 yrs ago)

SW: 140ish

CW: 130

GW: 110-115

So I always seem to get stuck at this 130 range.  I usually eat between 1200 and 1400 cals.  I try for 1400 on gym days.  I know that when I used the CC estimator is said 1600 i think, but I don't feel like I am losing anything on that, so I adjusted.  While I sit at a desk all day, I go to the gym about 5-6 times a wk...I am currently working on the Couch to 5K forum that I found here...so on days I don't use the treadmill I use the stairmaster.  I also do weights everyday...alternating lower and upper body.

deb--I also have hypothyroidism and I want to say that I think it is harder for us to lose weight, but I do not know if that is really true or not.  You should def join. People on the site are a good support system and they answer all your questions, even the silly ones, which I have had plenty of.  When i first started I noticed that I lost my love handles first, before I lost any weight.  I say losing inches is just as good...you could be building muscle although I am not positive.  Have you been counting the cals?  Have you used any of the tools on CC?

Hello!

I love this site!  I need all the motivation I can get!

 My stats:

age: 27

Height: 5'0

Activity Level: I work out 3/4 times a week BUT sit at a desk all day

Highest weight: 131lb

SW: 131lb

CW: 129lb

GW: 110 and a 19% body fat!

My Calorie Intake is:  1300/1400 (i've been told to increase to 1500 but for some weird reason I just cant do it - does anyone else have the same problem?)

TRIUMPH in the fact that I will always walk on my pants... just a little bit.

Me =

age 19 (but I burn cals at the rate of a 27 yr. old, I know, they've checked my TH levels)

height 5'1" (though there is dispute as to whether or not I'm boasting the inch)

highest weight 143 (but that was way before this site..)

current weight 118

goal weight 110

I aim for 1200 cals a day... but it averages out to be around 1400

And lilreenz, I know what you mean, there are days when I can't eat a bite over 900.  (And then there are days when I could eat an entire pizza...)  Eat as much as you're hungry! Big people don't understand that the "estimates" are meant for them, and becomes less accurate the further from average you get.

Hello all,

&nb sp;   I just turned 45 years old.  Last year I lost about 41 pounds and have maintained a weight of 96 pounds for several months now.  I am Four feet nine inches tall, really short.  The problem is, I still don't like myself.  I feel that I am too short and ugly and my boobs too small.   It did not help that a coworker was saying how cute another female coworker was.  She has breast implants.  Maybe that would make me more attractive?  I don't know.  Robin
I think we all just suffer with trying to find the perfect size.  I am totally too big on top for my body.  At 5'2", and 126 pounds, most of my extra weight is held in my triple Ds.  I keep hoping that if I take some weight off, that will shrink those down too.

I'd like to join as well.

Current weight: 125

Current Height: 5' 0"

Current Age: 19 (20 in 2 months)

Weight Goal: 109

Desired date for Goal to be reached: September 1st (08).

Activity: Moderate

Calorie Count: I have no idea

16 pounds to go baby!
