I want to lose 10lbs asap. i am 5,3, 31 med frame and 135. waist 28, chest 32 hios 36.

I need motivation so lets do it together.

i'm 5'2, 145, down from 175! would like to get to 120. when is your goal date?

count me in been trying for 3 weeks and all i seem to manage is two steps forward and 8 steps back as i now weight more than i started Cry

i hear ya about the 2 steps forward and 8 back....thats me too.

My problem is i am an emotional eater and i like wine. sigh...why can't i be skinny??

I wish i had an excuse like bieng an emotional eater or liking wine at least then i'd know why i wasn't losing weight. Instead i have been almost religous about this diet for 3 weeks .. so why the hell am i gaining??? *sob*Cry 

Are you eating enough?  I have heard that if you eat to little, your body doesn't lose any weight.

Question for you all  ---  what calorie limit do you attempt daily?   I really find it hard to believe I burn 1500 calories a day - I have been staying around 700-1000 calories a day eating - and I go to the gym 3-4 days a week 30 min cardio and 20 min strength training.   and I am stuck :(  I am getting toned -so I may be building muscle - clothes fit better than they did in winter so I guess I should not complain.

anyway I will check in with update on Monday.

Haha. I always get a kick outta hearing you all refer to yourselves as shorties. teehee.

I am also trying to lose 10-12 lbs. It will be great to have others to go through it with. I hear that when you only have to lose a little, it is very hard. Let's all do this, I know we can.  I have been going to the gym for about 3 weeks, and counting calories for about 10 days.  Only one lb lost, but I am going to keep trying. Good luck to everyone. All right lets do it!! We can do it! I was so bad, i was putting my son ( awesome two year old..check my pictures he is so cute) to bed and we were lying together on my bed and i was saying how fat i was as i was pinching my fat tummy. then he laughted and started to grab mommies fat...not only that he loves to weigh himself.

I just started my period so don't mind me i get a little emotional... but i just love him so much!

I'm 5'2" currently at 125 (down from 180), looking to get down to 110.  I've been on a plateu for 2 MONTHS and have only lost 2 pounds!  Ahhh!  This is so frustrating.  Is anyone else experiencing a plateau?  Or maybe have experienced it - if you have how did you get out of it?!?! 

This group and support I think is just what I need!

All need slimming down and I run and do yoga.

Can anyone help explain this? I'm not complaining, but why is it that the last couple of days not much exercise, but finally weight loss? Also does anyone understand the weight loss weight trend thing? Here is my weight log, please help, if you can.

Why do I have a feeling that tomorrow it will go up again. Anyone else have a good (lower) weight day, then the next right back up? This is starting to get discouraging.

I'm 5.3 and I used to be 115 and I realy looked good and not skinny.  I'm not fat but the main reason I want to go back around that weight is my clothes.  I refuse to buy a size bigger clothes to feel more comfortable.  I keep squizing myself in to my current ones and remind me that I need to lose the weight.  I'm scared that if I buy a size bigger pants one day those will be tight too.  So here I am...  to the effort to feel good  and comfy in my own pants... lol.
