Any shorties wanting to lose 10lbs with me?
I need motivation so lets do it together.
I'm still at 125... Which is what I've been for the last month and a half! (or so). Anyone have any ideas on how to get off a plateau?
My goal weight is 110.
Monday 5/26 weigh-in-holding steady at 120.5 lbs.

Yippee - group dieting works, and works better when you're not paying someone to stand on their scales.
I've now lost 3lbs! Down to 166 (or 11 stone 10 lbs).
I've also joined a gym, managed to run 5km, have a personal training session booked for Friday, and am feeling good! ![]()
OK so I forgot to weigh -in Monday so here's Friday wt, SW 123.8 then the next week up to 124.6, CW 123 (saw 122.6 for a fleeting day but left as fast as it came LOL)as of last Friday. NOT getting on the scale until Thursday this week - holiday weekend and all - too much sodium, didn't go overboard on calories though!
5/26 - 118.6 only one pound but I thought I might have gained so I'm happy with it.

I totally gained. I'm thinking of going on this "detox" diet for a few days just to get the ball rolling. There is one by Jay Robb called the Fruit Flush Diet. Anyone tried it?

Oh my goodness! I've never ever weighed that low before, it's a new record, and I had a really tough week with one massive binge, but I exercised it off and was really good. I can do anything now, only 10lbs to go!

Luvmyboy, I am a Mommy to a almost 4 year old little boy, who is the light of my life. When I first started to lose weight and was cutting back on treats and working out more he asked me why and I said because I want my tummy to be smaller, he told me he loves my big tummy and boobs and doesn't want them smaller
. He likes to cuddle a soft mommy, he has also said he likes to lay on mommy and cuddle mommy because she is soft and daddy is too hard.
I am a little late, but I am definitely a shorty looking to lose 10 pounds! Please help me to stay motivated! I've been on this site for quite awhile, but am usually silent on the forums. If I put it all out there, maybe I can have good success. It's definitely summer time in St. Louis - a great time for a positive attitude change!

I've lost over 30 pounds over the past 3 years and have managed to keep the vast majority of it off. The last 10 pounds are always the hardest, right?

So cute. My 4 and a half year old daughter told me, "Urrggh Mummy! Tummies shouldn't have layers!"
She's still very lovable though.
Anyway, Weight today was 124.4 lbs.
Nothing happening really. Although I have lost 1 pound since last Monday's weigh-in on Friday I weighed 123.8 so I'm still very up and down, and I'm still 2 pounds heavier than a few weeks ago. :(

6/2/08 update: I weighed myself again this afternoon (just curious) and found that I I'd lost another half lb. Total loss since last week is 2.5 lb!
I'm trying to stick to around 1300 calories (down from 1500) and have been walking more. I have had some slight hunger pains between meals and have added Fiber One cereal as a snack. Must be working!
