So glad I found this shorty group. I joined cc 21 July and have only lost 1 lb in 3 weeks; however, i am not giving up. I am 48 but did not gain weight until 39yo when i went on medication and gained 30 pounds in 3 months. I went from 135 which was a good weight on my build even though my height is only 5'2". I have struggled ever since to get the 30 pounds off off and keep it off. I finally settled at 155.
Unfortunately I gained an additional 20 lbs after heart surgery this spring
The good news is it was a success
. The bad news in now i am 174 (down from 175).
I have limited exercise ability due to feet injuries that I hope to fix the end of the month (plantar fasciitis).
As a former avid athelete I know excercise is critical to weight loss, unless I can keep my calorie intake very low. Presently the calorie counter said 1500 would give me a slow weight lossand that seems to be the lowest calorie count I can tolerate so far.
Well I hope I did not bore you. So glad we have ea/ other for support!

Good luck. Have you tried doing some of the exercise in the water. that may help with your feet problem until it is repaired. Just a suggestion. I hope you get to where you want to be!!!!
