I'm getting mine, too.  I've heard some great results in the fitness/measurements department.  Haven't heard much as far as actually losing pounds.  It's a good option for me, too since I live in an apartment and my schedule isn't always permitting to get to a gym, but I can squeeze in workouts if I have more flexibility.  :)

Winter is coming too.  BOO!

I only burned about 200 calories during each workout.  Since I would have burned ~25 in those 20minutes just sitting on the counch, my net burn was only 175 calories.  Just be sure to count it right.  The weights part of each routine are very high rep and very low weight which I don't agree with.  You would be better off lifting heavier weights and then doing 15 minutes of interval training (in my opinion).

not that you would be able to tell on me now...but if you stick to it it does work.  I could not believe how I looked after doing for two weeks (I did take a couple days off I didn't do it straight).  It's a tought work out so you definetly have to be in shape prior to doing it but it is fun and worth trying if your down to that point that you want to start toning your body.

It brought my fitness up one level. Its low weights and high reps, but since I'd never done anything like that before, it made a pretty drastic difference in my fitness. My arms got a lot less fat, and I could do real pushups(5-6).

However, after the initial major jump, I haven't continued to improve...

quite frankly its nothing special, i did it for 30 days and got the same results i would've gotten from any other decent workout. do something you really enjoy. personally her workouts aren't my favorite- although i enjoy her style of training id rather just go for a bike ride or something.

This, and her other workout videos, got me back into exercising.  I have read tons of reviews on tons of sites, and most people are positive about it.  I really like it. I did it back in the spring and went down a pants size.  I don't remember how many pounds on the scale I lost, it wasn't a ton, but I did lose inches.  Sorry, I'm not very into writing down or remembering my numbers!  But yeah, I liked it.  I'm actually starting it again.

By the way, to anyone else who does it... What do you catagorize it on the activity log on here?

I have no idea how u would log it on here..... but yeah.. ty to everyone who responded to my post... My dvd is coming and im excited about it... I've heard some very positive reviews!!! every excited.. Im not exspecting it to make me lose 100 lbs.. ya kno... im looking forwarded to it toning me up.....

I like the workout and the premise just fine - it's a nice, moderate, quick workout when you don't have a lot of time.  My problem is with the format of the DVD itself - it has a ~3 minute intro, about how she's supposed to be the "toughest trainer" and describing her revolutionary "3-2-1" system, that it will not allow you to skip.

Yeah, after the second time I used it, I pretty much know who she is and about the "system", so spare me the hip hop motivational montage and let me start the freakin' workout already.

But I will also say, in agreement with post #2, that heavier lower rep lifting followed by intervals is a better workout.

During the week I just keep the dvd in my dvd player and then you have already gone through the setup and can just select your workout.

Not very feasible for me, when there are three other people in the house who use the same player. It's just a minor irritant - I still like the workout.
