30 Day Shred / motivation buddy

I've been hitting the gym 3-4 a week and alternating between cardio, lifting, and swimming. My friend has been joining me twice a week.

If I don't go to the gym, I don't exercise... Embarassed  That's about to change - I'm starting the 30 day shred today!!  Anyone want to join me?

My stats are:
I'm 20, female, 5' 7.5"
Start weight: 178
Current weight: 175
Goal weight: 155 (ish.  I'm a medium frame, but have always been muscular so even in my best shape, I weighed more than I looked.  Mostly, I want to be comfortable in my body again.)

I've been looking for you!  LOL!  I have the video and have done it a handful of times, but not consistantly.  I absolutely love the video.  So, I am confused as to why I fell off the wagon.  My weight loss is still going strong, but I definitely need to do more than my occasional walks.  How often do you plan on doing this?  Daily, every other day?  I want today to be the day!  However, I am so busy and actually I am leaving for a few days to go north for some R&R.  I can try to make tonights, but won't be back until Sat!  Let me know your thoughts "buddy"!!

Oh yeah, stats:

29 - female, 5"3", SW 146, CW 138, GW....??until I feel comfortable!  I am thinking 130??  Or maybe more once I start exercising. I don't care what the scale says.  I guess I am content but just need to tone up :)

I'm going away this weekend too - so we will be on track!  I'm thinking tonight, Friday, and Sunday this week.

 

My real life gym buddy and I usually do Tuesday/Thursdays at the gym, and occasionally swim on Wednesdays... so I'm probably not going to do it daily.  (I love the idea, but I'm super busy so it's not going to happen Tongue out)  I'm aiming for 3-4 times per week, but I'll kick it up a notch and do more if I'm held accountable Wink

 

I haven't actually done the workout, but I watched the video streaming on Youtube during my lunch break today... it looks like exactly what I need.  Let's do it!

Ok, how should we keep each other accountable?  I will aim for tonight, Sat & Sunday of this week  I really want to see the results after I finish this 30 days.  I can honestly say I noticed a difference after only doing it about 5 times.....I can just imagine what I will feel like when I complete it :)  If you'd like, you can message me and I can give you my email. 

I am a super busy mom/wife/socialite also, so I think the 3-4 times per week is doable!  Can't wait to get started :) 

By the way..you will LOVE this video!  It goes back to basics, but is really trying!  AND it's only 20 minutes...my kind of workout!

 Baby08: I'm so happy you said 130 lbs and not caring what the scale said.  I'm 5'2 ish and around 130 lbs right now.  Most days I feel ok with this weight although if I lost a couple more lbs I wouldn't be disappointed.

The 30 Day Shred is good.  I've done it and got really toned in certain areas.  I also know people who have lost lots of weight with it.  If you want to be really motivated checked out Amazon.com reviews and see how well people are doing with it.  I checked Amazon daily for motivation when I was doing this workout.
