I know that I have a big stomach. It takes me ALOT of food for me to be satisfied. I want to shrink my stomach so that I can eat regular portions and be okay. How can I do this without starving or being hungry all the time?
Answer
The stretch receptors in the stomach can be “reset” over time to be accustomed to less food. Start by eating five or six mini-meals every three hours instead of three meals a day. Eat protein with every meal because protein reduces hunger for reasons that are not well understood. Also, eat low calorie, high fiber foods, like vegetables and whole grains, because they stay in the stomach longer to keep you satisfied. The prescription drug, sibutramine (Meridia) also makes you feel full quickly, but it is reserved for people who are quite overweight.

So you can keep track of what you eat - which enables you to analyze your foods and receive the following:
- Health Score of your overall diet
- Warning when you approach your daily calorie limit
- Overview of the good and bad nutrients
