Sign Ups Officially Closing for The Biggest Loser Challenge Part 2


Anyone wanting to join in the biggest loser challenge part two please sign up here.  I will keep this sign up going until the Jan. 16.  The challenge will begin on Jan. 10th and we will weigh in every Wednesday.  I will assign team members the week of Jan. 10th.  You must weigh in every week or if you can't let me know so I can mark you down for the weight that you used for the previous week. We will only take members up until Jan. 16th and then everyone else will have to wait until the next challenge.  The challenge will run for 12 weeks.  Anyone who does not weigh in for three weeks in a row will be dropped from the competition.  If you are interested please sign up in this thread.  If you have any questions please list them here or you can email me directly at TRHorses621@hotmail.com.

Please sign me up too, I am on day three of my weightloss fitness change my life journey. Do I ever need some kind of entertainment while I am on the treadmill. In the three days I have worked my way up to 2 hrs on the treadmill and all I have for entertainment is a radio. Does the time ever drag by.

 Twood, would you be interested in setting up a yahoogroups email list so we can get automatic and send automatic emails to the people who have joined so we don't have to search through the website to find the weigh ins etc. Its easy to set up and free, just go to www.yahoogroups.com and pick a user name then create a group then let us know the name so we can join.

i want to lose 20 lbs by May for my movie's red carpet party.
Nothing fancy, but I am a producer for a student production.  My team and I have been working on this film for th epast 2 years, and my baby will show this year may.  I WANT TO LOOK GREAT for the show!

Update: I am pleased with such a huge turnout.
Right now we have 65 people signed up to play and this would mean that we will probably assign 10 people per team.  Signups will last until Janurary 17th but the weighs in will begin Jan. 10th.  This will allow people to join one week after challenges.  After Jan. 17th signups will be closed and I will post a final roster

As far as how this will work is that everyone will weigh in every Wednesday.  I am not going to make a new email list because I can track the weights from the Challenge thread that I will post on Jan. 9th.  This is where you will post your weights.

I am taking votes right now for how you guys would like to do this challenge.  Part 1 we went by actual weight loss.  Do you guys want to go by weight loss or weight loss percentages.  I will take votes on it right now to see what the majority would like.

No one will get punished for gains or be kicked off of the challenge for not losing, etc.  This is just a fun challenge to help everyone with their weight loss journey.

Lastly, I will post the results by Friday each week unless something happens that I am unable to get the results that soon.  This is so you don't have to sift through the previous postings and you will know where you stand and where each team stands.  If you do not weigh in for three weeks in a row then you will be removed from the challenge.  However, this challenge we will not replace members who have been removed.  We will just continue to use the last weight that was posted for that person so the teams will not benefit or be hurt by someone being removed from the challenge.

Hey Twood...I'm in again.  Hopefully I'll actually lose something this time!!
Please include me.   I tried to loose weight all last year  and wasn't very successful.  Hopefully the challenge and competition will be the extra motivation I need.  Thanks so much for starting this challenge

Percentages don't mean much to me right now...

Besides, that works nicely for people that only have, let's say, 10 lbs to lose.  What about the person that has 75 lbs to lose?  The lose 5, it's not helping the contest much & that might make it feel like much of a success, even though it is!

I have been on the board for and love to read how everyone is doing.  I have had mixed results by doing it myself, so hopefully this will give me added motivation.
