Sign Ups Officially Closing for The Biggest Loser Challenge Part 2

Anyone wanting to join in the biggest loser challenge part two please sign up here.  I will keep this sign up going until the Jan. 16.  The challenge will begin on Jan. 10th and we will weigh in every Wednesday.  I will assign team members the week of Jan. 10th.  You must weigh in every week or if you can't let me know so I can mark you down for the weight that you used for the previous week. We will only take members up until Jan. 16th and then everyone else will have to wait until the next challenge.  The challenge will run for 12 weeks.  Anyone who does not weigh in for three weeks in a row will be dropped from the competition.  If you are interested please sign up in this thread.  If you have any questions please list them here or you can email me directly at TRHorses621@hotmail.com.

Edit: I am closing sign ups for the biggest loser challenge part 2.  Anyone who wants to join now will have to wait until we start the Biggest loser challenge part 3.  Thanks!!

Twood . . . I'm not opposed to doing it either way.  I disagree with pooh about the percentage not being fair to those that have the most to lose.  If someone only has 10 lbs to lose, they will never be able to lose as much as some of the heavier that have 100 or more to lose (me, for instance).  That last 10 lbs. is generally the hardest to lose and, if I look back at my first week, I lost 7 pounds in the first week.

Because there aren't any real winners or losers in this . . . we all win by losing weight and getting fit, I don't think it matters so much as it does on the show.  I think the percentage tells a lot more of the story when used in conjunction with the amount of pounds lost.

Count me in too, I need some motivation.
Yeah! This sounds like motivation sorely needed. I am definitely interested in joining the biggest loser challenge. How do I know if I am in? Thanks again.
It's probably because your entry was before mine but I would also like to join and get on the roster. I would do either weight loss in pounds or percentages. I may be wrong but I think an advantage to using percentages is that we wouldn't get penalized for not losing weight, which is possible if we are weight training and gaining muscle mass, while lowering our body fat. Just an thought. Thanks for doing this, it's an awesome idea.

Im sooo in!  I set myself back 2 weeks during christmas
Stupid tasty cookies....
Great idea!  Im a programmer, Let me know if u need any help
I'm new but sounds like fun...please sign me up!
I'm new to this also. Please sign me up
I think either way is good, as long as its a percent on lost / total weight, and not lost / weight-to-lose.

I would like to join!

Thanks
I think that because it's reccommended that we only try to lose 1-2 lbs a week, the percentages would hurt people with more to lose and encourage them to try to lose more weight weekly to get a higher percentage.

I wanna be in!!!!
I say % would be the fairest way but actual pounds is easier for most to relate to.   Why not list it both ways if not to difficult.  As for finding this again all you need to do is tag the contest and click your tag each Wednesday.
