And I have been feeling light headed at times, and even like i feel as if i am going to throw up but nothing comes up and its not full on. Just a sick feeling in my stomach? I took a test and it said negative. but i havnt had my period for just about 1month now.
HELP.
Hi there! I've had to ask the same question before.
http://caloriecount.about.com/earliest-signs- pregnancy-ft114107
I thought I might have been pregnant and it was just a virus/bug type deal. Good luck!
yeah its just weird, coz im feeling sick, and no period as well as off and on cramps.. its confusing, coz i have little symtoms.. but i dunno i just dont feel right.
also i had stopped taking the pill, about a month ago, and i had relations with my bf a fair few times, and ye im worried.. not a good time for kid.
I think usually tho if you are pregnant and that's what's causing you to miss a period that once you've missed the hormones should make the test read positive. Just don't get yourself too worked up after hearing/reading pregnancy symptoms because sometimes they're very vague/general and can really apply to alot of people that AREN'T pregnant. If you are worried/concerned/just needing to know, I would highly recommend going to your Dr. for a final answer.
ETA after reading your last post: Then again, if you've gone off the pill, which I've done in the past, it might take a little while for your body to re-regulate your natural cycle. Did you use protection at all?
No i didnt, and i think we done it properly..you know.. within the first few days of stopping the pill.. but im not sure, its really weird.. i get a bit of vomit come up to the throat, but not enoug to full throw up. I want to go to the doctors as i dont really rely on tests much, but i dont know im worried to know.. i know it sounds weird but yeah.. A few of my friends had little symptoms also.. thats why im confused!

I bet this is the source of the problems. Going on or off the pill can really mess with your cycle. Just try not to stress, see a doctor or wait a few more days and take another test.
yeah i know, thanks for all the support tho girls. Its just complicated. lol
I just recently went off the pill also (last month, or so). I also was freaking out b/c I thougth I was pregnant, I took a test, negative 2 times. So then I stopped worrying about it and said that if I didn't get my period by the end of the week, I would call the DR. So then my period showed up. It was almost 6 weeks after my last period started. It is just becuase I went off the pill, my Dr said that my body was just getting used to how my body functions again. I think it has a lot to do with the stress I was feeling about being pregnant. As soon as i stopped worrying, everything was fine. As an aside, I was also feeling dizzy and sick, I think it was all in my head.
BTW if it's not a good time for a kid you should be using SOME form of birth control... otherwise it may happen for reals next time. I got pregnant only a week after I quit taking the pill, so don't count on that timing to keep you from getting pregnant.
examine your breasts! early signs lay in the breasts, so i've heard. is the part round your nipple (forget what its called) darker? do your breasts feel tender or hurt? have they grown at all? gotten bigger? that's a good indicator, again so i've heard.
According to the American Pregnancy Association, the early signs of pregnancy are:
Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.
Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period.
Swollen/Tender Breasts:
Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.
Fatigue/Tiredness:
Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom which can also start as early as the first week after conception.
Nausea/Morning Sickness:
This well-known pregnancy symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all, while others will feel nauseous throughout most of their pregnancy.
Backaches:
Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy; however, it is common to experience a dull backache throughout an entire pregnancy.
Headaches:
The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.
Frequent Urination:
Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.
Darkening of Areolas:
If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.
Food Cravings:
While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy.
I personally think it's because you stopped taking BCP. I'm not in the medical field but I know from experience that it can take quite some time for your body to regulate itself without the use of the extra hormones BCP provide. The only time I have a regular period is when I'm taking BCPs.
That being said, it's definitely possible you are pregnant. False negatives are far more common that false positives when taking a test.
I would suggest waiting another week or so and then making an appointment with the doctor.
you can be off the pill for two days and get pregnant. once you stop taking it, use back-up ASAP.
ok user "almckee97"
I get your damn point.
So shut up ok.
Thank you so much girls for all the help. i have taken a second test and it said negative again! so now its the waiting game.
