This is so silly but...

Quote  |  Reply

I am crazy excited! I actually did workout today. It's so hard for me to actually get off the couch and do it even though I really want to lose weight.

But I'm excited because I forced myself to do the "one more" or run the extra "5 steps." I was actually saying to myself "Cmon Amanda, one more! You're almost done!" like all the cheesy workout people. Has anybody else gotten a personal high from doing that?

*Of course, now I'm back on the couch posting on CC lol*

I get the same way when I can actually motivate myself to go just a little farther! I have the same problem with getting myself to move.

Good for you & keep it up!!!

I don't think your silly, I bet there are more people like you then will admit it!  Feel proud of yourself!  You go girl!!!!

At least I'm not the only one!! haha! I'm always screaming to myself "push it come you can do it!" Good job!

Sometimes when I have a really good song going, I'll actually box the air while I'm running....I look crazy,,but it pumps me up!

LOL, I do the same sorts of things. I haaaate going outside to go to the gym because it's so cold out and I also really hate having to shower and get ready again when I get home. Now I mostly just work out in the evenings so once I get back home I don't have to leave again (meaning I don't have to look cute or get cold again). But as far as pushing myself, it's such a good feeling when I get done! Plus I can log my elliptical workout as "vigorous" instead of "moderate." Heck yeah! I'm really bad about singing along to songs I like when I am in the gym...I have to make sure I'm not actually singing out loud, but it probably looks like I'm whispering to myself...because I am! :P

good for you.
