It's the simple things (salmon "burger")

I went to Costco today and they had these awesome whole grain dinner rolls, 90 cal per roll, by Alpine Valley in stock again. Yey!

After I got home I remembered I defrosted some Salmon patties from Trader Joes. So I just cooked one on a skillet after salting and papering it. Cut one dinner roll in half. On one side I put couple slices of tomato, a dash of wasabi. On the other half I put a table spoon of 0% Fage yogurt. After salmon was done put it in the middle and sprinkled it with some RedRobin Seasoning. The whole lunch took about 10 minutes to prepare, and it was so delicious. :) The whole thing was around 200 calories. Actually I think it will make a great snack food.

It sounds really good.  I've never had salmon patties, but I often have salmon fillet.  It would be just as nice using a piece of cooked salmon.

I've made salmon patties out of canned salmon before, they come out really tasty, but sometimes fall apart. The trick is not to turn them before they're ready to be turned.

They're higher in calories than the other ones, but home-made.

I usually eat them over rice instead of on a bun, with broccoli or grean beans on the side.
