simply adding in calories and nutrition info?

Is there any way to simply add in the calories and or nutritional information of an item we eat?  Many times, the exact item is not in the data base and I take the closest thing to it, but that means all of the information is off. We have the box with the nutritional information on it so it would be lovely to be able to simply enter it.

when you're on the food log page there will be a blue "add it here" on the right side...click on that and add the info from the package and voila!  then you can tag it and you won't have to add it again each time...but it will be in your food database.....under tagged items

(need to figure out still how to get it into the general database...i've tried to "suggest food" but i haven't seen those items in the database yet...)

Thanks!  I don't know how I missed that!  This will make things easier!

Scroll all the way down this page (below the red line)  Click on Contact and that should get you through to make your suggestions for foods to be added to the data base.  Have all the nutritional information handy.  It will ask for it.
