the single best feature request EVER....
Multiple Adds.
I often have the same breakfast or lunch more than once a week and it would save me a TON of time if I could select multiple items and click the plus sign once to add them all at the same time. I'm sure this has been requested before; any idea if it's in the plans for the future or is it simple not possible without seriously modifying the code?
Sure sounds like a good idea. My breakfast is the same and I have the same items at lunch and dinner a lot. Not every day, but if I am eatting at a certain restaurant I always order the same thing. So being able to just click one thing would help.
Enter each of the components of your meal, and give them all the same unique tag. When you select that tag from the list, all of the components will be added to your log. I do this for a group of daily supplements, and it works fine. Don't be alarmed if, sometimes, not all the items show up after you log them. They'll show up if you go back to home and back into the food log, or when you make the next addition to the log.
I tried that. The problem is, it doesn't remember the quantity for some of the items and I have to edit them after they are added.
The only reason it doesn't remember the 'quantity' of the times is that some of the items are not in the calorie count database. The way around this is that you can put the quantity information in the NOTES when you build the tag, that way you can easily fill in the blanks if this happens.
Does that make sense?

Yes. But it's still takes more time than re-adding each item individually so what's the point.
so weigh out the same measurements each time.
