The siren song of chinese food.
I'm new to Calorie Counter Plus. But I've been a member of the original calorie counter site. Using this sight I was able (for the first time without Atkins) to lose ten lbs in 3 months. I know this doesn't sound like much but it was huge or me. Now do to my first non atkins holiday I'm back to my pre-CC weight. Chinese food is my kryptonite! Is there any way to eat it and not get fat!?!?!

Stay away from anything crispy.
The last time I ate Chinese food, a few weeks ago, it was at a buffet. I ate a plate of veggie salad, then I took a few bites of five or six different Chinese dishes--literally only a couple of bites of each. I logged what I ate as accurately as I could and found I didn't go overboard, at all, actually stayed within my dinner limit. But then I didn't lose any weight for a week. Was it all the salt and MSG in the Chinese food? I'm losing normally, again, but I don't think I'll eat any more for quite a while.

Might be water retention : ) chinese food contains lots of salt. Taaasty but naaaasty (for the weight ^.^ AND sodium intake).
If any of you find an answer to that thread I swear to god to worship you! I've been going to that chinese restaurant ,with a friend, for over 8 years now, and it is sad I don't go anymore because anything they serve is fried, cooked in oil, or comes with fat sauces! :/
Maybe I should try the fish... :(
