i think i want to try to do this...spread out my meals throughout the day. but i'm not sure how i should go about that.

i know some of you guys do this, so could you give me some advice? maybe a sample of your daily menu?

it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I eat 3 meals and 4 snacks/mini meals a day; spread out in 2 to 3 hour intervals or whenever I'm hungry.

I cycle my calories so I don't have a typical day; I have a different amount of calories each day. If you tell me what your calorie range is, I could give you an example of a day I do close to that.

Generally I do:

Breakfast
Snack 1
Lunch
Snack 2
Dinner
Snack 3
Snack 4
i need to be consuming 1200 calories per day (21 years old, 4'10", 175 lbs.).
You could break 1200 calories a day into 200 calorie mini meals. 1200 calories isn't much to work with in a daily basis. Are you exercising at all?
yeah, i've been burning about 500 at the gym, although i'm going to be upping that, maybe to about 700.

anyone else? c'mon guys, i really need help with this.

If you are exercising 500 to 700 calories, then 1200 is not enough. The 1200 "minimum" calories the site recommends is AFTER exercise. So you should be eating 1700 calories to lose.

I've lost over 105lbs and did it while switching to 5 to 6 meals a day. Typical day for me would be...

4:30 wake up

4:45 to 6:15 cardio

7am Breakfast

9:30 snack

12pm Lunch

3pm snack

6pm dinner

8pm a snack sometimes, usually small.

1500-calories in three meals a day,

1500-calories in six meals a day.
