What size is a 5'7?

I thought it would an interesting thread to see what size everyone wears at 5'7''.  I love those magazines that show different sized on different people, sometimes it is just shocking to see what size a model really is.

I'll start, I am a size 4 (135lbs)

I'm 257 pounds,  5'7" and wear a size 20 :P

i'm 5'8" (sorry if i'm taking liberties, here), 144, and size 8.

I'm 318lbs and 5'7", size 26

5'7 136 pounds size 6 or 8

Does that sound right?

I'm 5'7", 134-135, size 6-10, depending on clothing maker.

im 5'8 and 110lbs...no im not anorexic ..ANYMORE...ive recovered =]

my metabolism just caught up with me and now its super fast =[ lol.

anyways im a size 1-2....sad i know..thank God for my wide hips tho.

I weigh 188 and wear a size 15. A couple of years ago when I weighed 130, I could fit into a size 7 easily. It's easy to put on those pounds, but oh so hard to get them off!

I'm 5'7", 136 lbs and I wear a size 10. 

I can't imagine wearing a size 4 at this height and weight. Is there some new sizing scheme in the US? I've not worn a size 4 since I was a schoolgirl. I guess I am "big boned"!

Gosh so confusing to see all the sizes people wear at 5'7'', cuz I'm 5'3' and at 155 lbs (my biggest size ever)  I had to go and buy clothes size 8, so it's so confusing to see people taller and weigh less than me at a bigger size.

Where do you shop ejoy?  I'm 5'2" and have to weigh 123lbs to wear a size 7/8. 

I'm 5'7" and weigh 147, english size 14 though can wear a 12 also. Is that a 12/10 american size? I've never been any smaller than a 12 even when I was 140lbs which is apparently an ideal weight for someone of my hieght and bone structure (medium)

mediatinker I was thinking the same thing.  Im over 5'6" and at 135 I wore a size 8-10, too.

I'm 5'7" - I'm a 6-10 depending on brand. I weigh 149lbs.

Yeah, usually only petite people can fit into the 0-4 sizes.

My b/f is almost underweight, yet I can easily fit into his tighter jeans.  He only weighs like 7lbs more than me and is 6'2"

I can wear a 4, 6, 8, or 10, depending, so I don't know how anybody can even define themselves by a size anymore. You can't even buy shoes in your regular size nowdays. 

i know sizes are inconsistent, alayney, but that's an exaggerration, isn't it?

i mean, some days my 8s are tight, and some of my 12s don't fall off without a belt, but there's not a way in hell i could wear a 14 or a 6.  no way!

I think maybe alayney is referring to the fact that different brands or designers size their clothes differently.. and sometimes dramatically so. Especially high-end designers.. their 2's could be someone's 6's or 8's. But, maybe not. *shrug*
