Ok I am an 18-year-old female, 5'1, size 0-2, and 130 pounds. I feel like I weigh too much. I am an athlete; I play softball 24/7. Everyday I work out ATLEAST 2 hours a day. On the weekend I can work out up to 5-8 hours each day. I also eat very healthy, not because I make myself I just enjoy healthier foods. Anyways I just wanted some advice/tips. Such as what my calorie intake should be, how much should I weigh? I know the majority of my weight is muscle. I’m just very curious and frustrated as to why I weigh so much. Please help me out. ufrancis; I'm not sure you have the right to tell someone else what size they wear. Muscle weighs more than fat, common fact, yet it can also make someone look leaner, enabling their clothes to fit better.
Don't go attacking others about their bodies, it's incredibly shallow and uncalled for.
weighing at 104lbs, my size 2 jeans is just nice. when i was 102lbs even better.... just my example. i am 159cm tall.
How dare you say that to me? I find it incredibly disturbing that as a mother you would find it appropriate to criticize a teenage girl with food and self esteem issues on her body.

I don't care who you are, if you have the nerve to harass a young woman about her body--especially when she's trying and struggling with healthy weight loss and poor body image--you are not fit to be a mother. I sincerely hope that your children don't develop eating disorders when they're older...you honestly do need to rethink your words, for their sake and the sake of those around you. I pray that you only said such harsh words because you're safely hidden behind a computer screen...not that your statements are okay in any place or form, but at least then your children won't be hearing it. Thank God that Lafoutloud is a smart girl--hopefully she won't decide to starve herself because of your criticisms. There are a lot of girls that don't think things through and will take drastic action in order to please those that hurt them...my best friend nearly slipped into and eating disorder because of comments from her peers. I don't mean to be a jerk; I am warning you of the consequences of your words.

And you aren't exactly little miss skinny yourself.
SIze size size.. i am a mother of two kids too. Size big or small.. just embrace it. Sometimes, i let my weight slip up a little, but i will try to control my diet back. I exercised too. Every body is different.

I think at 5'2 and 130 ish I was size 6 ish... I only got to size 0/00/24 at 5'3 104-110 ish?
I am 5'1 [though I am 12] I dont really know what size I am.
I weight 110 lbs on a fat day lol. Normally around 106 lbs.
I am 32B bra size and everyone calls me big boobs and I don't Like it just coz they are flat chested! x
WOW ufrancis, that was completely out of line and incredibly mean. Obviously you have some serious self esteem issues you need to work through. Yes you look great after having 2 kids and you should be proud of that, but that doesn't give you the right to put others' down.
lafoutloud01: you look amazing and ANYONE should be envious of your adorable little frame!
lanner: everyone's body is different, and you look GREAT!! just because you weigh more than you look like you do doesn't mean you need to lose any weight, you're just incredibly fit and you have low body fat and high muscle mass! keep up the good work and please DON'T try to lose any weight.

I almost wonder if the scale you are looking at is incorrect... have you tried more than one scale? I know everyone is built differently, and you are undoubtedly more muscular than I. But I have a small frame and I'm 5'1 as well, and when I weighed 130, I could not fit in size 6 jeans. I definitely couldn't get a size 2 past my lower thighs.
ditto! i'm 5'1 too and at my highest was up around 130 and could definitely not fit into anything under a size 6 (not comfortably, anyway..)
I am 4'11 and 112 lbs which puts me at a 24% body fat. Muscle outweights fat. I work out 6 days a week and I can see that I am gaining weight but that is only muscle. You gain muscle first before loosing fat.

if you are that active then its probably muscle weight and 120 really isnt that much.
