I just wondered how you feel about your size.

I mean some of my friends are fairly big but are really comfertable with their shape. However some wish they were smaller?

How about you??

Im a small size 4 and wish i was a tad smaller. But dont we all ;)

Smaller than a 4? Why? It's not like we wear our sizes on our forehead. I don't even care what size I am. I care how I present myself. I can wear a 4, 6, 8, 10. How can you be just ONE size? All the different brands size things differently.
im a size 1/2 for pants and im comfertable with it :) i eat healthy (1600cals for maintnance).

Problem is, i can never find ones in that size that are long enough lol.

I'm a 14-16 and I hate it. I've had three children in 4 years and I used to be a size 4-6. Now that I'm done having children and finished breastfeeding, I'm ready to lose this weight. It's taken me a while to realize what I need to do, but I'm ready to lose! I'd love to get to a size 8. No small miracle here. If you're a 4, I'd say you're just fine. It's when you get into double digits that it's scary.

I'm a size 4, I want to be a 0-2
im size 3...i was size 5 unless i was just buying pants that were too big.

or maybe i actually lost weight so i feel good about that.

maybe at different stores im something else but i shop at the main young girl stores.
Sizes are so weird in today's shops that it's impossible to truly have a specific size. I have three size 4 dresses, my jeans are usually size 6, shirts are always small, and i've tried on some bridesmaids dresses where I was an 8.

It's so varied, but i'd say that, generally, i'm a 6.

I do like my size, for the most part. Sometimes I have 'fat days' where I'd wish I were a 0, but that, I believe, is an unhealthy extreme for me. Although, I'm working on toning my bottom half. I feel like my upper body is petite yet my bottom is heavy =(
juedie:

How tall are u?
i'm a 2,3, 4, or 5. depending on the pants. And I feel I'm good for my age and weight (14, 117)
I'm 5'2 small frame currently maintaining 103-105lbs.

Size 0-1 shorts ( Doesn't  matter which.)

Size 3 pants( Holister stores don't carry 2's though. But,my 3's have room so I'm sure a 2 would be more along the lines of the perfect fit. Lol  But, it's just a number so I don't care so much. Just as long as they're a snug enough fit to my hips, that they don't fall off.) That's why I like to wash my clothing every so often in warm water. After wearing things awhile they start to get too loose.

Most people seem to shop around buying at different stores, I always buy my shorts/jeans at Holister. Of course, I don't even have to unbottom any of those to get them on. The reason for which being I don't have a butt. Lol  Kinda wish I had a lil cushion of a booty. But, whatever. "What are the buttons for?!" Looks in my case apparently. Some women dislike their bootys. Whereas, others would love to have one to fill out their bathings suits. ect ect. I still maintaing curve but only in my breast. ( c cup. ) I think it's all in genentics. Some women are given bootys others breast. Some lucky enough to get both! I'm the healthiest I've ever been though so I'm very happy with my body image.
I don't see why 00's aren't easy to find it's about as awkard 2's therefore I don't really see the incentive to be a 00. How come?
1's and 2's?????   Sorry girls--I'm down to a 10 or 12 and I'm happy!!!  Seeing the the "average size" nowadays is 14---I'm comfortable in a 10 or a 12!!!  I am 5'11 inches, and I don't think just my bones alone would be a 1 or a 2!!!  Double digits do not scare me--I am happy and healthy and I will live, if I don't get to a size 2 !!!  AMEN! I wouldn't want to be a size 2 anyway--I like looking like a women--not a little boy!
Yeah, I exactly what you mean Lyssalou. Because once you've become trim to an extent you'd have to actually break your hips, to wear a smaller size. It's not because of extra weight. Just bone structure.

However, who said anything about looking like a little boy? Does a little boy have a 34 c cup? Show me one that does, please.  Some women are actually just small stuctured not stick figures. Or skull and bones.
Thank you for that enchantingimage--I was expecting all these "girls" to come back with--oh, she's still fat!!!!  I am what I am, and I am healthy!!  Some women do not strive for a 00---do we wear our tags on the outside??  Do we brag to total strangers about our size?  Are we all going to hell if we are not a 00??  I think not!  Now, if someone actually comes back and says they'd want their hips broken to fit into a smaller size, then I'm outta here!!!!   Thank you again enchantingimage--you made me feel good!!!!!

You are one of the few--most of the "girls" I'm talking about are the young teenagers who are starving themselves, and have eating disorders.  THe ones who ask if they can live on 200 calories a day---I've seen some of your other posts, you seem like a bright women--I stress adult, right?  Not the 12 year olds wanting to be -00!!
- retraction - One person said that they'd like to be a 00. I asked why because I don't see the incentive in her goal either. I didn't personal attach her though.  ( I was explaining that due to bone stucture, the idea is sometimes unrealistic. )

However, you said " AMEN! I wouldn't want to be a size 2 anyway--I like looking like a women--not a little boy! "

That's fine. Your goals can be whatever you like. However, implying someone looks like a little boy because they're a 2  is just wrong. Show me a little boy with a c cup.
I did not personally attack anyone--just stating my opinion--just like you did.  If I got to a size 00, I would not have my size D bust on a 5'11 frame---plain and simple.  Did I say anyone here looks like a boy???  No, I did not.  I actually said thank you to you---after knowing how you come back with these posts to some people.  Pardon me for my opinion, I thought that is what these posts are for.  I DO NOT HAVE AN ISSUE---now THAT is an attack.  I will avoid you from now on, obviously we are very different people.
I see. I thought it was against anyone that was a size 2 reading the post with the comparison that they resymble a little boy because of it. That's fine though. I'm sorry. I didn't realize it's just  how you'd invision/ or feel about yourself in that position. That's completely understandable.  No worries.

I think it's nice to see people with realistic goals. But, when they're already a 0-1 and they want to become a 00. My question is why? What is their incentive? Where does it stop? Is the goal to be none existant skinny? There are runway models that actually die, in that attempt.

btw, I wish I had your height. Sorry for the misunderstanding about the last part of your post. It's sad when people have unrealistic goals. Some women can never beneath a 5,8, ect ect due the width of their hips.

Guys sizes are different. But, I bought new pants this spring because I was gaining weight. >_<  36 inche band. They actually fit very nicely. But, since then I've been running more. So I've actually lost some weight. From 186lbs to now 170lbs. I don't know what my band size is now. But, I know that a 36's are very loose and that makes me smile. I've just invested in belts. I don't like shopping.
Anyone know a link to a site that converts inches to size for women? I'm curious how many inches equal each size. Perhaps, a sizing graph of some sort?  I'm looking around to see if I can find one but no luck.

I'd like to know the difference between 0 and 00. Lol If anyone ever finds one of those charts. What's next -1? Or would one have to revert back to the childrens section? I think that a child is the only one that should be that size.
